I’m excited to share that I’m currently working towards my Level 6 Diploma in Canine Behaviour 🎓🐶

I’m already a quarter of the way through, and I absolutely love diving deeper into understanding our dogs – how they think, learn, and communicate.

This journey means that very soon I’ll be able to offer even more specialised behaviour support and services to help you and your dogs live happier, more balanced lives 💚

New dog walkers ask me this all the time…
“What should I charge?”
And my honest advice is always the same 👇
Do your research.
Look at what established dog walkers and pet sitters in your area are charging and price yourself properly.
What you shouldn’t do is think: “I’ll charge cheaper and get more clients.”
It doesn’t work like that… and undercutting actually harms the industry for everyone.
Running a dog walking business isn’t just “turn up and walk dogs”.
There’s: Fuel
Vehicle wear and tear
Insurance
Tax
Equipment
Work clothing
Poo bags
Treats
Time spent travelling
Admin
And so much more people don’t see.
And please remember this…
Don’t let clients pressure you into lowering your price.
Your time matters.
Your experience matters.
Your service matters.
So here’s the rule I always stand by:
Don’t undercut.
