rity is the happiness and well-being of your dog. I am a fully qualified city and guilds professional dog groomer trained by Scotgroom Carluke, Pet Industry Federation accredited training school. I decided to groom from my house to enable me to provide the “family” feel to my work, and as I also dog walk locally this was the best location for me. I converted my integral garage to a professional grooming room. I have only one grooming table, fully adjustable to cater for large or small dogs. I only groom one dog at any given time, by appointment only. I have no appointment overlap, thus giving your dog my undivided attention at all times, with no need to place in a cage until pick up. All my grooming equipment is cleaned on a dog by dog basis and maintained to industry standards. Working from home offers a very peaceful, relaxed, warm, friendly, loving environment, which instantly puts the dogs at ease, as there are no other distractions within. It is my goal to give your dog a stress free and enjoyable experience. Your dog has also the advantage of a fully enclosed garden to potter around in or have comfort breaks whilst in for grooming. All products used at Hair of the Dog are of the highest standard and solely for use on dogs, with a range of shampoos and conditioners from whal, brand for different coat types and colours. If your dog has a prescribed shampoo for any skin conditions, I am happy to use this, if supplied when you visit me.
