Founded in 2019 by Daniel Child, after more than a decade as a Dog Handler, Pardus K9 was born from a passion for dogs and a career dedicated to training & working with them in some of the most demanding environments, including private security, the prison service, armed forces, and police forces. At Pardus K9, we combine years of hands-on experience with a global perspective, gained from visiting

and observing thousands of trainers and behaviourists around the world. This journey has shaped a truly versatile and modern approach to training, one that values effectiveness, compassion, and longevity over shortcuts and quick fixes. We specialise in helping the dogs others have failed with, using a deep understanding of breeds, behaviours, and training methods. We’re not a one-trick pony, we adapt, problem-solve, and tailor our work to the individual dog. Time to book your favourite group sessions!

There is a slight increase in prices to the groups.
This is my first price increase in 3 years.


This is where you book on the groups you wish to attend for next week, please read the info below, we do this to help manage our inbox.

If you're new to booking, please DM us and we will get you set up and explain how things work.

If you've booked before, please comment below, which groups you'd like to attend.

As always, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, limited spaces available, no pre bookings taken.
If you book and fail to attend, you will still be charged in full, for Wednesday being a free service we have a 2 no shows and banned policy due to a recent "suspicious" influx of rogue bookings. Sorry to the genuine folks.

📅 Pardus K9’s Weekly Pawsome Schedule:

🐾Monday:
7-8pm - Casual Heelwork, 8 spaces, £8 per dog
8-9pm - Advanced Heelwork, 5 spaces, £12 per dog.

Really sorry there won't be a Tuesday group this week, I can refund any pre paid, I know I have 3 clients who I still owe £2 each to (forgot my change tin 🫣) I can send it back or transfer until your next booking, new price will be £10.


🦮 Wednesday 7pm
Onwards – Wednesday Walkies, STILL FREE.
A sociable stroll and training, 20 spaces. Lots of fun. Open to all, not just paying customers.

👀 Thursday 7-8pm - Focus Thursdays –
Focus, obedience, distractions and long-line work, including recall foundations 🐶 £10 per dog, 10 spaces.

1 is a dog trainer, the other a magician.

If you want someone to come out to your house and "fix" your dog in 1 hour you need to give the magician a call.

There is no such thing as a "Quick fix" in dog training and especially not in Behaviour modification.

These "7 day fixes" are a scam.
Online training courses to become a trainer, are a scam.
Anyone saying they can "fix" your dog in 1 session is obviously a very talented magician.

How to tell the difference...

Dog trainers look like regular people, not trying to look like that tit off the TV wearing a suede jacket with elbow patches and a flat cap, or people who haven't cut or washed their hair for 6 years to be closer to nature and the dogs in a spiritual way.
Real trainers have a variety of different training aids and knowledge of how to use them all safely and fairly. Along with multiple methods and techniques.

Magicians rely mostly on aesthetics, distraction and deception, they make things look good including themselves, square jaws are fairly common, but it's all an illusion, they tend to do things that last a very short period of time, the knots they tie aren't very tight and won't hold for long... see where I'm going here?

Some "dog trainers" claim to have magical abilities to sort a dog in a day. It's utter sh*te, these people are either slip lead hero's, who know nothing other than how to scare a behaviour out of a dog with harsh punishments, or the science lot who want to turn your pup into a potato by throwing cheese at it for hours and waving pom-poms whilst the dog is drooling like a broken tap.

Don't be caught out by fancy pages with 100s of reviews, I know one local guy gifts his clients £40 worth of raw treats to leave a review 🤷🏼‍♂️ has fake reviews and uses AI posts to look busier. Yet I've had over 100 clients claiming he told them their dog is autistic and can't be trained.

Please don't fall for it. Do your research.

DO NOT PAY FULL IN ADVANCE!

Little bit of a business update to explain my recent hiatus from social media.

A few small admin changes to be aware of in the coming weeks. Some have already been implemented.

Residential stays:
Suitability assessments are now compulsory. A 50% deposit will be taken on all residential bookings.

Group sessions:
Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will be charged at full price via invoice.
Excluding Wednesday Walkies, in place of an invoice, you will receive a 2 week exclusion.

New website features 100% coming soon.

WORKSHOPS. Full day workshops £90, 8 GLH and weekly workshops e,g 1 x 2 hour Sunday workshops over 4 weeks, 8 GHL
10 spaces per workshop.

Distance control

In regards to sessions and groups tomorrow.

The weather forecast hasn't changed, it's simply going to be too hot, I can't risk the dogs welfare for any reasons, that's not who I am.

I will message message each individual who has a booking tomorrow to rearrange.

Heat kills dogs, please keep them cool!

Apologies for the inconvenience however I'm taking this rare opportunity of a day off to catch up on admin and paint the fences.
