🐾 SOFT PLAY FUN DAY – RESCHEDULED 🐾

Just a quick update for everyone booked onto our Soft Play Fun Day.

Unfortunately, we've had to reschedule the event from Sunday 23rd August to Saturday 22nd August.

If you were already booked onto the Sunday and the new date is no longer suitable, please send me a message as soon as you can so we can sort everything out.

If you haven't booked your dog on yet and would like them to join us, there's still time! 🐶

💛 £30 per dog for the full day of indoor soft play, fun, games, enrichment and plenty of time to burn off some energy with their friends!

A little farewell to Louis, it's been an absolute pleasure walking this tiny little monster who for such a small dog has so much personality but he's off to start his new life down south and I wish his future dog walker all the best luck as he packs alot of punch for such a little dog 🐕🐾🐶

Am I annoying you all yet, I'll stop posting when you all have joined the raffle to help the food bank, this is the least reaction I've ever had to one of my raffles so far so I'm going to keep pushing till you all join, I'll be annoying 🤣🤣

Anyway nipped farmfoods and picked up a few tins out of my own pocket :)

💛 JO & CO SUMMER FOOD BANK RAFFLE & DONATION DRIVE 💛

It's been a little while since we've done a charity raffle, so I think it's time for a big one!

With the summer holidays starting, food banks are under even more pressure as many families struggle with the extra cost of providing meals during the break. I'd love for the amazing Jo & Co community to come together and make a real difference.

Every penny raised will be used to buy food and essential items for Wigan Foodbank, alongside any donations we collect.

❤️ You can help in three different ways:

🎟️ 1. Enter the raffle
Tickets are £2 per number.

Rather than choosing your own numbers, they'll be allocated in order as payments come in. For example:

- First person to buy 5 numbers receives 1–5
- Next person to buy 2 numbers receives 6–7
- And so on until all numbers have been allocated.

The raffle will close on Friday 31st July, and I'll keep updating the list so everyone can see which numbers have been assigned.

💷 2. Make a donation
If you don't need a Jo & Co voucher but would still like to support the cause, you can simply make a donation. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will be added to the final amount we spend at the food bank.

🥫 3. Donate food or essential items
If money is a little tight, that's absolutely okay. Food and household essentials are just as valuable.

Items that are always appreciated include:
🥫 Tinned foods
🍝 Pasta, rice and other long-life cupboard items
🐶 Pet food
🧼 Toiletries and hygiene products
🧴 Cleaning products
🍼 Other non-perishable essentials with a long shelf life

I'm happy to collect donations when I'm out picking up or dropping off dogs, or you're welcome to drop them off at my house if you live nearby.

I'll also be contacting the food bank to find out what they're currently most in need of and will post an updated list.

With the summer holidays starting, food banks are under even more pressure as many families struggle with the extra cost of providing meals during the break. I'd love for the amazing Jo & Co community to come together and make a real difference.

Every penny raised will be used to buy food and essential items for Wigan Foodbank, alongside any donations we collect.

Just a little heads-up so everyone can get organised! 🐾

Both Jo & John will be unavailable on the following dates:

✈️ November Holiday
📅 Thursday 12th November – Monday 23rd November
🐶 We will only be doing our morning walk on Thursday 12th November, then we'll be closed for the remainder of the holiday.
✅ Back to normal on Tuesday 24th November.

🎄 Christmas Break
📅 Friday 25th December – Monday 28th December
🎅 We will be working all day on Thursday 24th December before taking a few days off.
✅ Back to normal on Tuesday 29th December.

🐕 Looking for cover while we're away?
If you need someone to cover your regular walks or pet care during these dates, you're welcome to contact Katie directly if she covers your area. If she doesn't, I'm more than happy to recommend other trusted local dog walkers.

To give yourself the best chance of securing a space, I'd recommend contacting alternative walkers as early as possible, as many get booked up well in advance during holiday periods. 🐾

Wishing our lovely Harvey the happiest of birthdays! 🥳🎂

Harvey is a much-loved member of our walks and daycare family, and we always love seeing his gorgeous face. At 12 years young, he’s still enjoying plenty of fun and cuddles! 🐶💙

And of course, he’s often joined by his best mate Alfie — the perfect duo! 🐾🐾💕
