Today most of our little herd have been collected or delivered to their new homes. We are sure they will be very well cared for and I hope their new owners will enjoy them as much as we have.
We have just two female Cria left to sell, one white and one Brown, they are just under a year old, if any one is interested please PM me.
We have decided to concentrate on our Llama Trekking business which has been in operation for 11 years now. As we are short of inside space to shelter animals we took the decision to downsize the Alpacas. I will miss them terribly as well as going to shows etc, meeting other Alpaca addicts but the welfare of our animals is the most important thing. So Dartmoor National Park, you have won, we give up.

Weanlings tucked up in the field shelter, dying to get out but there is nothing in the fields for them so much better for them inside. Six weanlings, two now sold, 4 females still available.

Big day tomorrow, we have our Planning meeting for the Barn, Dartmoor National Park are recommending refusal even though they acknowledge that we have a need for it. I have practised my 3 minute speech, thats all I am allowed. So fingers crossed everyone and pray for a miracle ! Then hopefully we will be able to do any husbandry inside in the dry

Looking forward to Widecombe Fair tomorrow. We are all loaded up ready to set up this evening. Then early start tomorrow, we are taking some of our Alpacas and our Yarns, Knitwear etc. Hoping the weather is good and everyone has a great day.

Yet again, it looks like our grass let is under threat and I may have to let my last few females go. So if any one is interested in a starter herd of 6 Pregnant females please PM me.
