☀️ Important notice for next week’s walks ☀️
I just wanted to pop a little update on here regarding next week.
As many of you know, the last few weeks haven’t been the easiest as I’ve not been very well, and I honestly just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for being so understanding, patient and supportive during this time. It really does mean so much, especially when I’ve had to make changes or take things day by day.
I’m really looking forward to getting back to normal and seeing all of the dogs properly again, but with Weston looking like it may be heading into another very hot week, I will unfortunately have to make a few changes where needed to keep everyone safe.
If temperatures are looking to reach 24°C or above, walks may need to be:
🐾 moved earlier in the morning
🐾 shortened if it gets too warm
🐾 changed to a drop-in visit instead
🐾 cancelled if I feel it isn’t safe for your dog
I’ll be taking each day as it comes and making decisions based on the temperature, humidity, shade, pavement heat and each dog’s individual needs. On the hotter days, especially around 26°C and above, I won’t be taking any risks.
Drop-ins can include toilet breaks, fresh water, shade, company, feeding if needed and lots of fuss, without putting them under pressure in the heat.
I’ll keep checking the weather each day and will message everyone individually if your dog’s walk needs to be moved, changed or cancelled.
Thank you again for all your understanding — I really do appreciate it, and your dogs’ safety will always come first 🐶💛
