How have you started your Tuesday??

Today it was kicked off with a delicious coffee courtesy of Lost Barn Coffee followed by a grooming session of the spaniels and our guest dog!

For some the lickimat is the reward after a brush but for mama bear and our guest dog to try and make it a nice experience for them the lickimat was given whilst they were brushed.

Not only does brushing them allow me to remove the dead fur, sticky balls and anything else that gets lost in there but it enables me to give them a thorough check over to make sure that everything is ok.

Choosing someone to care for your dog is a huge decision, and it's one we never take lightly.

At Sophsdram Pet Services, we don't believe in simply dropping your dog off and hoping for the best. Every dog is unique, which is why we've created a gradual, stress-free boarding process that helps your pup feel safe, relaxed, and truly at home before their holiday begins.

🐶 Our boarding journey includes:

🏡 Meet & Greet in your dog's own home
🐾 Neutral walk with our resident dogs
🛋️ A couple of hours in our home for a day trial
🌙 Overnight trial before any longer stay
🎉 Then... holiday time!

We only board one household at a time, allowing us to give every guest our full attention, maintain their routine as much as possible, and provide a calm, family environment.

And if we feel that home boarding isn't the right fit for your dog? That's absolutely okay. Your dog's welfare will always come first, and we'll happily recommend our pet sitting service instead. ❤️

Because the best care isn't about filling spaces—it's about finding the right fit for every dog.

🐾 **We've Been a Little Quiet on Social Media...** 🐾

If you've noticed we've been a bit quieter than usual over the last couple of weeks, it's because our focus has been exactly where it should be... on keeping your wonderful pups safe, happy and entertained during the hot weather. ☀️🐶

From early morning walks to enrichment sessions, plenty of water breaks, paddling pools and shaded adventures, our days have been full to the brim making sure every dog in our care has still had the very best time while staying safe in the heat.

A huge **thank you** to our incredible team. ❤️ I genuinely couldn't do this without you all. Your dedication, flexibility and love for every dog that walks through our doors never goes unnoticed, and I'm so grateful to have such an amazing team by my side.

On a personal note, it's also been an emotional couple of weeks. After finding a lump on our beautiful **Mama Bear**, we were understandably worried. Thankfully, the fantastic team at **Market Town Vets** got her in quickly, removed the lump, looked after her so well, and this week we received the news we'd been hoping for...

✨ **ALL CLEAR!** ✨

The relief is indescribable, and we can finally breathe again.

She also came home looking rather glamorous after having a little area shaved... although I'm sure she's counting down the days until **Styler + Co** can work their magic and give her a proper pamper! 💇‍♀️🐾

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, trusted us with your precious pets, and checked in on us. It truly means the world.

Now... normal social media service is resumed! 💚🐾
