🌤️ A Little Waggaway Update! 🐾

The weather is finally starting to feel like it’s improving… just a little bit! Lighter evenings and a hint of sunshine definitely lift the mood – for both us and the dogs! Just waiting for the fields to dry up all that shushy mud 🙏

My dog grooming skills are continuing to improve and my confidence is growing with every groom. I’m so proud of the progress and love seeing each transformation walk out the door feeling fresh and fabulous ✂️✨ will hopefully be onto the heads/faces next and I won’t lie.. it’s the only part that I find daunting!

I’ve also done a few walks and dog sits recently plus had several enquiries asking if I can take on some new clients for this…just a little reminder that yes, I can still offer these services if I can fit them in around grooming, my job and family life 😅 . So by all means, just pop me a message and if I have the space, the space is yours!!! I’ll always try my best to help 🐶

Back to school tomorrow! I hope everyone has had a lovely half term. ❤️

A little Waggaway catch-up update 🐶✂️

I’ve recently started a new part-time job to fit around my dog grooming and it’s going really well, I am enjoying being there and I’ve settled in nicely! One big bonus is that it’s giving me time to recharge my grooming batteries so I can keep up with the stamina that grooming demands… because wow, grooming is hard work 😅

There’s a lot of bending, stretching, lifting and holding. The back aches, the arms feel like they might fall off some days and energy certainly runs on empty by the end of the day … BUT after working with a huge variety of dogs – big dogs, small dogs, short coats, thick coats, long coats, curly coats and the countless cockerpoos – I can honestly say I’m loving every minute and the back ache is totally worth it 💪🐾

I’m currently testing my skills with clippering and learning different techniques and coat types, which definitely throws a few learning curves my way! But I’m feeling super motivated, working really hard and determined to smash these skills and become the best version of myself that I can possibly be! ✨

Although my time is more limited now, I can still (believe it or not!) fit in dog walks and drop-ins, even if it’s on an as-and-when basis. Just pop me a message and if I’ve got the space, it’s yours 🐕🚶‍♀️

Here’s hoping February brings us drier weather and maybe even a bit of sunshine 🌤️🤞 No more rain please – it’s been a very wet start to the year!

🐾 99k Dog Walking Challenge – February! 🐾

After totally binging on Christmas treats (no regrets 😅) I’m officially jumping back on the fitness wagon — and what better way than with dogs and fresh air?!

I’m considering taking on the 99km walking challenge this February, all powered by wagging tails, muddy paws and happy pups 🐶💪

Who’s in?! Whether you do this solo or join me for accountability, motivation, or just to get moving more, this sounds like a great idea and sooo good for your own mental health and wellbeing! 🥰

We could always club together any fundraising if you feel anxious about raising enough on your own! There is options to purchase extra bandanas if you wanted to jazz up your doggo ❤️

🐾 A little update from Waggaway 🐾

As many of you know, I absolutely love working with dogs and I’m now focusing more on my dog grooming journey alongside having another part-time job. Because of this, I’ll be offering dog walking on a much smaller scale with very limited spaces available, including some weekend availability. 📆

This change allows me to put more time and energy into learning, developing my skills and working towards offering grooming services in the future. ❤️
