Meet Richmond, our newest little gentleman 💖
This handsome boy is very much his mum’s shadow, so he felt a bit unsure at first. We eased into things with plenty of cuddles, a gentle stroll, a quiet sit watching the waves, and then a relaxed walk back to the car. The treatos definitely played their part 😅🐾

After a busy Christmas and New year I have finally re-visited my diary and now have space for a limited amount of new clients.

It was a sad year with a number of my elderly dog clients crossing over the rainbow bridge 🌈 I miss them all dearly but feel now is the time to meet some new pups ♥️🐕♥️🐶

It's only February, yet I feel compelled to remind everyone: PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS ON A LEAD IF THEY LACK RECALL😤

Your pup may be friendly, but you can't assume the same about others. An on-lead dog could be reactive, nervous, or simply not fond of certain breeds.

When your dog darts over to those on-lead, please act quickly to bring them back if they're not responding to you.

Respect goes a long way—acknowledge your dog's actions and say one simple word “sorry”
I've noticed that many people fail to do this, even when it's clearly their fault😤

And certainly dont get arsey when i’ve politely stayed calm and waited for you to collect your dog. When you havent even said ‘sorry’, dont expect an "it's okay" in return when you and your dog are in the wrong.

If your dog often ignores commands, keep them on a lead. This is not just about your dog; it's about the safety of others aswell!

Would you appreciate someone running across a field just to stare at you? I don’t think so!

Yes we can all make mistakes at times, and sometimes you do come round a corner and dont have much time to quickly put them on a lead. I purposely walk in big feilds with on lead dogs so that you can see miles ahead. But on numerous occasions now i’ve had dogs run the whole way across the feild at us😒

So please be responsible and use the right equipment for your dog. Leads, extendable leads, long lines and secure feilds exist for a reason—make sure to use them👏

🚨PLEASE READ 🚨

Unfortunately, from 13th February, I’ll no longer be covering the Portland area - this includes walking & house sitting.

This wasn’t an easy decision at all, and it’s something I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about. I’m so grateful for all the support and custom I’ve had in Portland and for trusting me with your dogs. I’ve genuinely loved walking and caring for them.

If this change means you’d prefer to end walks sooner than the 13th, I completely understand — please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Thank you so much for your understanding, it really does mean a lot to me.

My 12-day sit with Indie — or Indiana Susannah 🤣 as I like to call her — has officially come to an end 💔

This little firecracker 💥 has completely stolen my heart. From her dramatic zoomies at 6pm 🚀 to the way she side-eyes me when she wants to play ball 🏐, she’s kept me on my toes every single day!

We’ve shared endless cuddles 🥰, walks 🐾, and the occasional who-can-snore-louder nap competition 😴 (she wins, every time).

I’m definitely going to miss her cheeky antics, her waggy welcome every morning, and that big personality packed into one small dog 🐕💖
