It has been a fun filled few days! Vixen is really starting to settle in and, realising that no incoming dogs are a threat, has begun to make friends.
So, Barney, Sadie and our newest arrival, the lovely Florence, have been having a great time; making friends and also doing quite a lot of sleeping! I love the post walk and waiting for a walk snaps!
Ada has been a treasure, continuing to learn and enjoying herself at the same time.
More visitors = more help and more cuddles for the dogs! Thank you, family and friends ❤️

May I introduce Vixen.
She is Witton Waggy Tails' new mascot.
It is early days and it will take time for her to meet and get to know all of our dogs and all of our clients.
Vixen is timid and stays close to me as this makes her feel safe and secure.
Gently and with care, she will fully integrate in our wonderful Dales life.
Please do give her a warm welcome.

A quick update before the bank holiday.
Ada has loved her week of walks, it's much cooler and she has been able to play and learn, such fun, oh and drink from the outside tap, which she mich prefers to a bowl of water!
Rocky and Rudi; ever loving life and the water trough!!
And Holly and Ted, who always make me smile just by being themselves, such happy dogs.

Fabulous fun and a lot of spaniels!!!
Firstly though, Bess, who is half spaniel! Then Millie, a sprocker...both enjoyed getting to know each other.
Then Ada, who isn't a spaniel!
Followed by Bess and Elsie (spaniel) wallowing in puddles! Teasel and Dotty (spaniels) both loving muddy water!

What a fabulous bunch of dogs this week has brought to WWT.
Doris, the Dandy Dinmont and Lupin, the working cocker, our newest visitors; chilling out after breakfast before a very wet walk (yes, it rained!!! 🌧)
Millie came to stay, she was really quite timid when she arrived, but with plenty of cuddles from me and gentle persuasion from the other dogs, she quickly became one of the gang, and settled really well here.
Ada also had a very wet walk....she didn't mind the rain, but she didn't enjoy being soaked!
Happily the sun shone for Ted and Holly!
A visit with Bear and Dora (black labs) was lovely (the photo doesn't show them off well) and finally, Bess (the lovely springador) came to stay! Phew! A busy time!

I've had a few days off, but still managed to walk dogs! The first two pictures are of the lovely Barney and Tessa who I walked before moving to the Dales, and whenever I can, I walk them again!
Ada has been in very playful mood this week, she loves the cooler weather ☺️

A couple of wonderful waggy tail days. Ada came for a sleepover and was brilliant. She remembered that she had stayed here before and settled instantly. Dora came over for a play and the girls did just that, non stop, together!
Rocky and Rudi joined our morning walk and then it was Ted and Holly's turn. Holly was in super playful mood today, Ted was happy to join in!
Ada was really chilled out this afternoon, just sunbathing in the garden....happy days!

Lots of lovely dogs feature in this post!
Gorgeous, cheeky little Uno, who stole our hearts, playing with Flora who came with lovely Nelly to spend a day with us...Uno wore them both out! Rocky and Rudi, loving their walks, water and other dogs, as is their wont!
Flora is just the right height to check Katie's lunch out!
Holly, Ted and Ada.....all of whom I absolutely love walking, their love of life warms my heart.
Oh, and a quick picture of friends...I love walking with and meeting friends on walks. Rocky, Rudi, Teasel, Dotty and Elsie loved the human attention!

Weekend vibes at Witton Waggy Tails.
Betty preparing for her sunbathing session. Teasel and Dotty loving the water.
The arrival of, for the first time, Uno! Such a young pup with so much character and VERY expressive ears! Betty did get the hang of her!
Ted and Holly so thrilled to see each other and Ada being the cutest GWP I know ❤️
Uno made herself look VERY long when lying in the sun. Archie nearly metamorphosed into Uno, but not quite!

And the week ended with Jet and Bertie,taking life in their stride. Until the next time, boys 👋
Dotty, Teasel and Betty all visited for the weekend and we kept them busy! Lovely long walk with Rocky and Rudi got the weekend off to a flying start, and then they all fell asleep! 😆
The dogs all enjoyed the sunshine, especially Betty, who found every excuse to sunbathe!
