At the start of August I finally decided to begin what I had originally wanted to work on about 4 months earlier 😅 Better late than never! We started working on trick training (from Do More With Your Dog) and she's done pretty well! She's earned her Novice, Novice Masters, Intermediate, Intermediate Masters, and Trick Puppy Champion titles. We've done our videos for Advanced and Advanced Masters which we will get around to sending in eventually.

She and the boys are is showing loads of enthusiasm for their sports. 🥰

Can't believe they're 6 months already! Happy 6 months, babies! They're starting to learn and love their sports. 🥰

Sunday marked the pups as 16 weeks. Echo's back for a tiny bit while his family are on vacation which, means pure puppy chaos and shenanigans. Astra and Echo spent the weekend at a Hoopers comp that Nova and their "uncle" Kaius were competing in.

Couldn't resist the chance to get in some pictures of Echo after the photoshoot for Astra turned out so well 2 weeks. ago.

16 weeks weights:
Astra 7.4kg
Duhan 9kg

Astra (ArdentHeart Astranomical) is obviously a gorgeous girl but she's not just beauty, she is brains with a sweet but sassy personality. She is tug and food motivated and always willing to work for her meals. I can't wait to get more training time in with her to see what she can do.

On Monday the babies all had their last vaccines at 12 weeks. Echo stayed with us for a couple nights and Duhan visited for a couple hours yesterday. Needless to say, they were some tired pups by the time they went home.

Week 10 weights - week 12 weights
Astra 6.025kg - 6.8kg
Duhan 6.1kg - 7kg
Echo 6.3kg - 6.95kg

Which officially puts all puppies past half Nova's last weigh in at 13.3kg🫣

Echo (ArdentHeart Solar Flare) has been such a sweet and silly boy to raise. He's been so confident and not really phased by much. He reminds me of his mother in so many ways and I can't wait to see how he turns out. Again, so glad he found a home to where I'll be able to see him regularly. ❤️

Duhan (ArdentHeart Blazing Sun) made me laugh so much each day. He's such a little personality and just wanted to do everything all of the time. He's found a slightly quieter life being the only dog in the house and settles more...maybe a good thing I didn't know that! Was hard enough to see him go but am grateful he's found a home that will still let us see him. ❤️

On Saturday Echo puppy went to his new home...but that's okay they all met up with each other the next day! Week 9 weigh...

Another eventful weekend for the pups. Nova's 4th birthday on Saturday and a flyball comp for one of my other dogs. Shh, don't tell Nova! She got some treats picked up for her on the way home.

The babies got to come visit with everyone for about an hour and quite enjoyed the experience. Then today Duhan puppy left with his new mom (miss him already) and has been settling well so far. Just about one more week and Echo puppy will leave with his new family as well.

Echo 4.915kg - 5.690kg

Nova x Riverspell Border Collies's Taboo are officially 8 weeks old today. First vaccines are tomorrow. Next week Duhan is off to his new home to start flyball and the week after Echo is going to his to do hoopers.
It's been another good week with them. Lots of socialising done at our inter-team competition on Saturday where they got to watch some flyball and do loads of socialising.

Week 7 weights - week 8 weights:
Astra 4.310kg - 4.845kg
Duhan 4.345kg - 4.965kg
Echo 4.455kg - 4.915kg
