BEST DECISION |

Well this prompt couldn’t happen on a better day, it’s My Alice Band’s 1st birthday 🥳 🎉🎈Whoooooo hooooo!!

One of my best decisions I made was to launch My Alice Band and I did it on a day, which celebrates all women’s achievements. So it’s a double celebration today…

I have met so many wonderful inspiring women through this insta community, so let’s all take a little time to celebrate today.

FAVOURITE |

I’m so very lucky to have many favourites in my life, however, one of the biggest ones is my amazing fiancé Nick (I know, we still haven’t reset our wedding date!) He’s the best and ever so supportive of me and My Alice Band. I shared the first photo last year for this prompt and feels appropriate to share again - what a handsome hero in the leopard print headband. Also, a few more snaps of us sporting headgear as well.

A few of my other favourite things apart from sewing are walking, eating almond croissants, hanging out with my nieces, afternoon napping and supporting my insta community 💛

3 THINGS… |

Todays prompt made me want to share my 3 top hair accessory tips with you…

1️⃣ Find an accessory that makes you smile 😊 If it brings you joy before you even put it on, just think how it will radiate joy to everyone else once you are wearing it.

2️⃣ Be experimental with your hair styles. For instance with a headband, you could try wearing it at the front of your hairline, covering your ears, showing your ears, wearing it on your crown of your head. Just spend some time finding what it looks best and feels the most comfortable.

3️⃣ If your trousers or dress come with a matching fabric tie belt, create your own hair accessory! You could tie in a bow at the front or at the back of your head and let the tails hang down.

AND REMEMBER…always wear with joy 😊

I’m aware yellow isn’t a value, however, it’s the core to my brand. For me, it’s what yellow stands for that makes it special - joy, sunshine, fun. Yellow is warming, mood enhancing and inoffensive. To me it’s the colour that dreams are made out of 💛

So if you want to wear some joy and put your best head forward, I’m your hair accessories gal 😊

I’M BACK 😎🏖👙
What a wonderful holiday it was! Sunrise runs, sunset beers, sea swims, pool side book reading, lovely lunches AND Matchy Matchy headband with my bikini! We totally refilled our cups (as I like to put it!) plenty of sunny energy to drink from over the next few months. A holiday full of joy 😊

I really hope you have all been safe in the stormy weather here in the UK. Our landing was a little bumpy, even the captain came on the tannoy after we touched down and said ‘PHEW’ I think that sums it up 😆🛬

Thanks everyone for the tags while I was away, always appreciate the support. My Etsy shop will re-open this evening.
