Boa's Ark

Boa's Ark Reptile Rescue Boa's Ark was established to provide a rescue service for all types of reptile. We started off with a small colony of Boa Constrictors.

As people found out more about us, we grew and grew to the point where we were bursting at the seams. We had to do something about it. We couldn't say no to any needy animal and downsizing was never an option. As such we decided to start an organisation specialising in rescuing and re-homing reptiles. We take on any reptile, any condition.

Looking after 6 very very small baby hognose snakes that haven't fed since they hatched on the 4th July.

Before deciding to breed your snakes please ensure they are of an adequate size and in good health if unsure get a vet to look them over; the result of breeding any animal to early is severely stunted babies with limited chances of survival.

Vladamir - an absolute delight came to us through Bournemouth & Poole College (the college also donated lots of equipment and supplies for which we are very grateful). The college only had him 4 months before he joined us; born in 2009 Vlad is rather over weight, however these pythons are renowned for there veracious appetites. Since joining us in July this year Vlad has been on a strict diet.
