As we count down to the BE event at RAC Saddle Club, Bovington this weekend, we want to shine a very special spotlight on a true legend of the yard: Malcolm Barnes, who this year celebrates 25 years of delivering top-quality hay, haylage, and straw to us — and who now embarks on a well-earned retirement.

Malcolm has been more than just our forage supplier — he’s been a loyal supporter, a familiar smile, and a cherished friend to everyone here at Bovington. Through all weather, all seasons, and all sorts of chaos, he has never let us down — always arriving with kindness, good humour, and an unwavering commitment to the yard.

Here at George Barnes Fencing and Paddock Maintenance Ltd we are looking to take on someone on a self employed basis. Experience in agricultural fencing and being able to competently drive a tractor is a bonus but most importantly a willingness to learn on the job is a must, in all weather conditions.
Good rates of pay for the right person.
