French Frogglers

Last week was all about very hungry "Chenilles" (caterpillars) 🐛 and beautiful "Papillons" 🦋
We also revised the colours in French, and found an intruder among the "Dix" (ten) 🔟 little butterflies! Can you spot it? It's the only one without a picture in the shape of a "Cercle" 🔴🟡

C'est l'Été (Summer) 🌞 French Frogglers! It's time to eat lots of yummy "Fruits" 🍓🥭🍒

Toucan and Mange-tout want the exact same amount of fruit for breakfast but are not very good at sharing. Thankfully, the children prepared everything for them! 🥝🍎🍐

In our online class, the children had to find the "Fruit Manquant" (missing fruit) on the board in a fun memory game. They did so well! 🏆

In parallel with "Les Saisons" this term, we are learning about "Les Formes" (shapes) 🔴🔺🟥 and the children are amazing at matching 2D and 3D shapes 👏👏👏

We had a wonderful time talking, singing, learning and listening to stories about "Le Printemps" (spring) for the past two weeks 🌷🌸🪻
But spring is soon coming to an end and "l'Été (summer) is on its way! 🌊☀️🍒

The Summer Term has started but it's not too late to join! ☀️🎉

This term's topic is "Les Saisons" (seasons) and of course we started with "Le Printemps" (spring) 🌸

In our puppet story last week, "La Princesse" 👸🏻wanted to grow "Des Fleurs" (flowers) 🌷🪴🪻
So she very patiently planted and watered them with an "Arrosoir" (watering can) 💦

"La Méchante Sorcière" (the bad witch) 🧙‍♀️ who is very jealous of the princess, wanted bigger and better flowers but wasn't prepared to wait for them to grow! However, things don't go according to plan for her, and she soon learns a valuable lesson 😆🤭

The children helped the princess grow beautiful spring flowers, revising colours and numbers in the process 🌸🪴🌼

"Pâques" (Easter) 🐣 is coming soon, so we played a game with "Les Œufs de Pâques" (Easter eggs) 🥚 They had fun shapes 🐰🥕🐥 and had animals hidden inside them. The children had to find their natural habitat, as well as decide if they could also be "Animaux de Compagnie" (Pets) 🐇🐝🐦

A very colourful week ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍🩷🩵🩶
The children "built" animals with bricks, "made" a "Serpent" (snake) 🐍 while practicing their threading skills, and finished the train "arc-en-ciel" (rainbow) 🌈

The Jelly Blox were a great success in the face-to-face classes last week!
The "Chat" (cat) 😺 and the "Chien" (dog) 🐶 are neighbours and friends. But one day, they have a big "Dispute" (row) 😠 and the children helped them build a big "Mur" (wall) 🧱 between their two "Maisons" (houses) 🏠🏠
Thankfully, a little "Oiseau" (bird) 🐦 help them realise they are lonely and miss each other 😢
So they decide to destroy the wall and live together in a great big house 🏡 And there's even enough space for the "Oiseaux"! 🐦 🕊️
