Hi all. This post is to ensure that F4P stays beautiful for all you lovely people who enjoy the space with your dogs. So many of our visitors really do look after the place, and we thank you for that.

Unfortunately, there are the odd few… We have recently had some instances of food being left on the picnic tables, cigarette butts on the floor around the tables (need I say more with the grass as dry as it is…) and equipment and benches being moved and left, rather than put back where they should be, and this morning a broken chair.

If you do move stuff, that’s fine. But please do put it back where it came from, because I can’t. I have said before that I have a disability which means I can’t move the heavy stuff so I then have to wait for help. My friends tried to move the bench back where it should be this morning, but we just couldn’t do it between us. So now I will have to employ some stronger people to move it for me.

If you take food to the field, please make sure you clear up after yourselves. There are 2 bins on site, or you could simply take it home with you. We do not want dogs picking things up that they shouldn’t.

If you break anything, or find it broken, please report it to me so that I can get it fixed or move it to safety.

And lastly, if you are going to smoke in a field which is like a tinder box, then please just don’t come to F4P.

⚠️⚠️⚠️***PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE IN F4P FIELD***🔥🔥🔥

Sadly, even after putting a very obvious sign on the gate last week, I found yet another cigarette butt this morning. This HIGHLY DANGEROUS, especially at this time of year (only one little spark could burn the whole field down, and neighbouring fields too). Cigarette butts can also be highly toxic to dogs if ingested. And some dogs will put literally anything in their mouths!

Google - Ci******es are extremely toxic to dogs because they contain ni****ne, which is a fast-acting and dangerous poison. Even a single cigarette butt can make a small dog very sick or cause severe ni****ne poisoning.

Occasionally me and Teddy board our friends dogs. They tend to be the ones who have special needs 😂 (Permission from the owners has been granted for that comment!)

Deefer came for 2 weeks in July. He worries about most dogs, so having access to F4P is perfect for him. Deefer loves Teddy!
The picture of Deef and Ted was at F4P with the first breeze in ages. They both sat there for a while, just taking it all in!

Alf also loves Teddy, but he doesn’t do stairs! So we did a trial in my lift, and he totally nailed it! I was amazed as Alf can be really nervous of new things. He went up and down with his owner first, (albeit a bit nervous of it) then happily went up and down with me.

We enjoy looking after our friends dogs so that their humans can go on holiday, or even just have a day out without worrying about their special friends. 😍🐕🐾

6am, 8pm and 9pm slots are filling rapidly during this predicted heat. You will need to book ahead if you want one of these spaces.

Also, I was just wondering if anyone would use a 5am slot for the next couple of weeks?

The little garden is done! I'm so happy with this. I hope you all like it! 🐕🚶🪴

We are having the grass cut next week, so hopefully the farmer will be able to move the other pallet of stones for me!

A polite notice about moving equipment at F4P. I have no problem at all with people moving any of the equipment. I want your dogs to enjoy the time they have at F4P, so if that means moving things around, please do.

However, I have a disability which means I cannot move anything heavy, so some of it is impossible for me to put back where it was without help. So, if you do move equipment, I would just kindly request that you please put it back where it was before you leave.
