Located between Abergavenny and Raglan with easy access from Usk Monmouth the Heads of The Valleys and surrounding area. Licenced with Monmouthshire County Council

Cats on Vacation has raised cosy kennels which have individual light and heater unit with ground level exercise area all with a view to landscaped courtyard with pond and aviary. There are 7 single chalets , 6 double chalets which can

accommodate up to 3 cats and 2 family chalets which can accommodate larger family groups There are 4 further chalets with twin sleeping areas that can accommodate up to 3 cats

Only cats from the same household can share a chalet



Boarding Tariff

£10 per day for single cat
£16 per day for 2 cats sharing
Cost for boarding more than 2 cats sharing available on request

All cats must be fully vaccinated prior to admission against Flu, Enteritis and FELV

Please bring proof of vaccination with you as I can not admit any cat without this

Summer is fast approaching. If you are planning to take a Summer break and need somewhere for your cat/cats to holiday too please contact me as soon as possible as lots of bookings now coming in.
Also spaces are filling up for the May Half term week.
You are welcome to come and view the cattery prior to making a booking .

Thank you for supporting me over the past 7 years and particularly the past 2 years which have been difficult for all.

During that time it was important for me to be flexible with my opening times but now things are getting back to normal I feel the time is right to run with originally planned Opening Times .

These Opening Times haven't changed. These are the times that were published on my Catsonvacation.com website when I opened in June 2015 but I have tended to run an Open All Hours schedule.
Going forward the plan is to stick to the opening times.

As I get older I realise that I am not Super Woman and I am sure that even Super Woman has a day off !!

For all NEW bookings taken from 13/04/22

All bookings taken before this date stay at the dates they were booked for

Monday - Saturday
Morning drop off or collection 10am - 12 noon
Afternoon drop off or collection 4pm - 6pm

Sunday
CLOSED
Bank Holidays
CLOSED

To all my clients and friends .... just wanted you to know that Cats On Vacation IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS if you need somewhere for your cat to stay .

Finally though cautiously it is possible to get a much needed break away although I am aware that the situation can change over night and want to reassure you that no cancellation fees will be charged should you be forced to cancel a booking.

Spaces currently still available for August though very limited for Bank Holiday weekend

Any bookings made from September to December are still in place unless I hear otherwise. I will contact people as the dates approach
to confirm if these bookings are still needed.

We will be operating strict social distancing protocols for drop-off and pick-up of cats. We will be asking you for specific check-in/check-out times to help us to adhere to these protocols.

To all my clients and friends .... just wanted you to know that Cats On Vacation IS STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS if you need somewhere for your cat to stay due to unforeseen circumstances ,illness or hospitalisation etc during this terrible crisis. We totally understand that this is a very unprecedented situation and want to reassure you that no cancellation fees will be charged. We do not know how long this epidemic is going to last so I am happy for you to keep your up and coming bookings in place until the very last minute (we can all live in hope that our holidays will still go ahead🤞🏻). We will be operating strict social distancing protocols for drop-off and pick-up of cats. We will be asking you for specific check-in/check-out times to help us to adhere to these protocols. If you need any help with dropping off and picking up of animals then please don’t hesitate to ask. Take care and keep safe
