Hi everyone,
A few housekeeping points as we start the new year.
No shows and late cancellations.
My job is my income it pays for food, utilities and Alex’s school uniform etc
ALL late cancellations or no shows must be paid for before booking your doggos next appointment. If you don’t pay for the appointment I will NOT be booking your dog back in.
I ask for 24 hours notice as it gives me time to fiddle with my diary and hopefully fill a spot. I can tell you now there’s nothing worse and twiddling your thumbs for a hour when someone doesn’t turn up and you’re unable to move dogs around. I hate sitting still and there’s only so much cleaning one can do!
Fleas ⚠️
If your dog arrives with fleas and you’ve not given me a heads up, I’ll be politely passing your dog back and kindly asking you pay for the appointment. I can not risk dogs coming in with fleas and passing them around to other dogs in the salon. Gemma and I share the salon and we have the same rules when it comes to fleas. If I have some warning I can get the dog straight into the bath and deal with the fleas on them. But I can’t have a dog sitting waiting whilst its little passengers are hopping off in hopes of finding a new host. It’s not fair to other dogs or their owners. I can advise what products are best to use at home to reduce the chances of your dogs getting fleas. At the moment fleas are hard as nails and a lot of treatments are failing! Better to be proactive and have preventative steps in place than to fight a war with fleas, it can be exhausting!
Injuries & Infections ❤️🩹
If your dog is in pain, please don’t put them through being groomed. I am not a vet. Whilst I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to many doggy issues I can not diagnose or treat your dog. I will not be grooming any dogs who are suffering. It’s not what I signed up for. I can adjust my grooming techniques to keep dogs comfortable who have some conditions but if it’s experiencing pain I won’t put it through anything unnecessary. Give me a heads up and we can rearrange their appointments.
I recommend block booking as most of my customers do. Send any dates/times you’re wishing to book and I’ll try my best to accommodate.
