Barking Mad Dog Care Barking Mad 'home from home' pet care offers an alternative to kennelling where we arrange for dogs to be looked after by host families in a loving home.

When you book a Barking Mad holiday, you can be confident your dogs’ are going to have as good a time as you! It’s really important to get to know you and your dog, especially in the beginning. We’ll come to your home and you can tell us all about your day-to-day routines for feeding and exercising so we can replicate this for your dog. We’ll chat abo

ut likes, dislikes, quirks and personality plus any healthcare requirements. We make absolutely sure we understand your dogs’ individual needs and lifestyle. By the end of our meeting, which usually takes around an hour, we’ll all have all the information we need to make the perfect host family match. Selecting the right host family is very important and your input into this process is invaluable. You will want to know where your dog is going, so during our time together you are going to see profiles all of our dog-loving families. They are just like you and me, and guaranteed to meet our extremely high home boarding standards.

🐾 on site carpark for several cars but can also drive straight up to each field. Double farm gates.
🐾 no code or latch on the gate - you need to let reception know you’re there.
🐾 2.5 acres
🐾 6ft and 5ft mixed fencing and hedging
🐾 lake with interested heron!
🐾 2 picnic benches
🐾 mix of short grass and longer meadow grass / farmers field
🐾 lots of variety of heights - big hill in the middle
🐾 No trees in the field but lots around
🐾 poo bin ( in the field)
🐾 1 hour for £15- book and pay online

J11 off the M60 (not far from the Trafford Centre)

🐾 on site parking for 3 cars (per field there are 4 onsite)
🐾 code and time controlled gate with extra latch you can use when you get on the field
🐾 1.5 acres
🐾 6ft security fencing - well maintained
🐾 doggie drinking water and bowl
🐾 shelter with bench
🐾 agility equipment and tunnel
🐾 short grass
🐾 mostly flat
🐾 no pond or other water
🐾 No dog wash
🐾 No trees on field but one edge lined with trees on the other side of fence line
🐾 More open aspect and lovely views to the farmers field - lambs in there at the mo
🐾 50 minutes for £9 - book and pay online and booking can very easily be rearranged online too

Our Story

When you book a Barking Mad holiday, you can be confident your dogs’ are going to have as good a time as you - although secretly we hope it’s even better! Who’s who - It’s really important to get to know you and your dog, especially in the beginning. We’ll come to you and over a cup of tea you can tell us all about your day-to-day routines for feeding and exercising so we can replicate this for your dog. We’ll chat about likes (usually a lot), dislikes (usually the postman) and any healthcare requirements. By the second chocolate digestive we’ve started to understand your dogs’ individual needs and lifestyle. By the end of our meeting, which usually takes around an hour, we’ll all be getting along famously. Oh and don’t worry, we love dogs of all shapes and sizes, pedigree, Heinz 57 or rescue. They can sleep in the bedroom, pull on the lead, or even hide your favourite socks. As long as they are friendly we’ll get along just fine. Holiday home - Selecting the right host family is very important and your input into this process is invaluable. You will want to know where your dog is going, so during our time together you are going to see all of our dog-loving families. They are just like you and me, and guaranteed to meet our extremely high pet sitting standards. Together we’ll make the right choice, and you can decide whether your best friend stays in a home with or without a resident dog, depending on his needs.
