Three years since Layla came to us. She was a smelly, scared dog and I can admit now that we wondered if we’d made a horrific mistake. But with patience and love and help, she’s turned into a loving, cheeky, fluffy wonder who we love with all our hearts. She even won a rosette for her tricks just recently, and she’s learning agility, proving that once given a chance our dogs can truly do anything…

URGENT FOSTER HOME OR ADOPTER FOR BAILEY

Bailey is a handsome 9 month old boy from Romania and is in the UK.
He is an active and playful youngster that needs a foster home.
Bailey is Medium sized boy with a gorgeous fluffy coat.

He is loved very much but sadly doesn’t get on with the other male dog in the home and despite everyone’s best efforts, we need to find a new home or temporary foster home for Bailey.

He is currently in the Bolton area - BL1

Bailey would be better suited to being an only dog at the moment.

He would like a secure garden and experienced people to help him develop and progress.

Its a family matter!

Firstly we would love to let you know that Joey just got his ticket for a happy bus, his suitcase is packed, passport ready, he is saying goodbye to his friends and promising they will all have home as well. We can hope.

Thank you to everyone, from us and from Joey, he is over the moon!

We mentioned our 4 siblings not long ago that they got offered a great opportunity to come to UK. This siblings are extremely cute and we are sure they will be quickly adopted once they get here. But they are extremely fearful and shy, they dont allow to be touched and they need some work to gain confidence and cross the fear. We have a warm hand to help and work with them. Of corse there are costs for them to travel £360 each and we need to build a pen for them which costs £450, so all together we need £1890 which we know is a lot but that would save this 4 from being in our shelter. They are young dogs and we need to help them as soon as possible.
We need to raise the whole amout as we really don't want to leave any behind, they are family and we need to get them here as a family.

I am Joey, Get Me Out Of Here!

Our tiny 2 year old boy Joey has a great opportunity to escape the snow and winter coldness with the next transport. A warm and loving foster home was offered to him but we need your help with his preparation and travel costs, £360 is needed for Joey to pack his suitcase and leave. Christmas on a sofa in a warm home is all he wishes for. Let's help him.

Joey was found on the side of the road, with a broken leg, other injuries and all around ignoring his cries for help. With our help in RRC he got better and his leg is now healed. He will make a great companion to someone as he just adores people. Don't wait to apply if he is for you. But for the moment let's get him out.

URGENT APPEAL - No Electricity

At the weekend the area of Romania where our shelter is built suffered a blizzard. The electricity went down and is still not back up. Without electricity we have no lights, can’t wash any blankets, heat rooms for sick and injured dogs or, most importantly, fire up the water pump that allows us to get water to the dogs for drinking and cleaning. We have borrowed a generator for the bare minimum of operations but it’s not enough, and we desperately need one of our own for such emergencies. The electricity goes out regularly during the winter and we can’t rely on being able to borrow a generator. We need one of our own. The temperatures are already below freezing. The cost of a new generator is approximately £500

We also need to replace a few doghouses where they have been chewed over a period of time. And this is also urgent due to the freezing temperatures. The cost of replacement is £260.

Hiya

Thank you so much for the support so far with these 3 beauties Bus Tickets. We so far have managed to raise £370 which covers the cost of only one of them travelling. We would really be greatful for any support with the ticket for the other 2 as well please, so that we can bring them to foster in the UK and help them to escape the cold winter in Romania.

JON, is 1 year old and people friendly and Cat friendly. Jon is adorable. He was found at the train station living with his Mum and siblings. Sadly all of his siblings died from Parvo, Jon was the only pup to survive. Jon is a very sweet, loving and happy boy. He has shown a submissive nature with both people and other dogs. He is a little reserved when he first meets new people, but after just a few days of patience, daily love and care, Jon will start to show his fun side and true personality. We feel Jon would benefit from being homed with another friendly dog for company and to help build his confidence.

SOPHIA is also 1 year old, Small, will be medium size when grown People friendly Dog friendly Pretty Sophia really has the sweetest face and two super cute white paws! She was rescued with her siblings Bailey and Loki along with mum who had just given birth. Sophia is energetic and playful as you would expect for a young pup. She is very friendly and loves lots of attention and cuddles.

KATIE is 18 months old and small/medium size when fully grown. She loves people and has quite distinguished markings which makes her a very handsome girl. Whilst still a young pup, she is quite a confident youngster with people and other dogs. Very confident and loving with people and very playful. She is also very bright and quick to learn but does have a stubborn streak.

We think they will snapped up immediately once in the UK so would love to be able to give them a chance this winter. Could you please help us raise the £710 still needed?

Hi All
First of all, we wanted to thank everyone for helping us to get Little Panda and Maisy over to the UK to their lovely foster homes. You can find here a couple pictures of them enjoying life and being so grateful to everyone who donated, shared, liked and commented to help us get there. The whole team in Romania and in the UK are also so thankful for all the support and the kind words that cheered them on to their life-changing journey.
But, this is not all we want to share with you today. We have managed to secure foster placements for another 3 dogs to come to the UK in 10 days, ahead of the big freeze over in Romania. The lucky ones this time are:

• Katie
We need your help again to cover the cost of their ticket (their pics are on this post) to their happy ever after. They have been waiting for so long and we are desperately trying to get them out of the shelter and into warm homes were they can get a little experience and training to get themselves ready for the unconditional love we know it’s out there for them. The cost of the ticket for them is £360 each, so £1,080 in total.
And, that’s not all of it! We managed to secure a place for another 4 beautiful dogs to travel at the beginning of December to a wonderful shelter in the UK where they will get human interaction, training, long walks and assessment from qualified wonderful people in the UK. The 4 lucky pooches are:

• Hugo
For them to travel, we will need to raise £1,890 to cover their tickets at £360 each and the £450 cost to build of a large pen, which will then be used over and over again for more of our dogs to travel there once these 4 beauties are rehomed.
We can hear you asking “what more?” and, well, we saved the best little nugget till the end! Tahoe, who is now 6 and has been with us since 2018 has finally been spotted by one of our lovely fosters who have offered him a spot on their sofa and to share the bed with their lovely pack! We could not be any happier and it does fill our hearts with hope that we can find a home for those poor little souls who have been overlooked for so long. His picture is on this post and he is a real beauty, isn’t he? Well, we need help with the ticket for him on the happy bus please, which is £360.
We know we are asking for a lot, and we know times are hard for everyone. The festive season is coming up and while many of us in the UK will have an opportunity to see their families and friends, a lot of dogs will be in shelters in Romania, not knowing how good they could have it over here. We would love for you to get a beautiful present for these 8 wonderful dogs and give them a chance to find happiness and love in warm and kind homes. Please, give them hope.

Hi All

We have an update on Maisy and Little Panda's tickets! We now have enough to cover the vaccinations, paperwork, tests and ticket for one of them which is great and we are very, very thankful for.
We still need enough to cover the other one's costs to come in foster. We went into the play area with them today and told them and although they are both happy they were a bit confused and wondering which one would be the lucky girl. Nothing would make the whole team happier than being able to see them both board the happy bus and come to warm, comfy foster homes where they can learn ti be loved and get spotted by a furever family.

So here we are, asking again for your support and help. For those pennies you may have found behind the cushions or in your pockets. Asking you to have one less pint or coffee this weekend so that both of them can come over to the UK. Please help Maisy and Little Panda to make their way home.
