Star Paws & Claws Dog walking, home boarding and pet sitting service based in the Ashfield area of Nottinghamshire. Why choose us? We based in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

We care for your pets as we do our own, as we realise, like us, you love your animals and always want the best for them. Fully licensed by the local authority. Fully insured. CRB checked. Your dog will be walked and given our full attention, no trying to struggle looking after 5 dogs at once. Boarding pets have their own room (or will be together if 2 pets from the same household).

There are over 3000 licensed boarders on Find Pet Boarding, but there are many more thousands of unlicensed boarders on unscrupulous platforms that don't verify licence status. Please remind everyone you know with a dog how important it is to ask to see the licence certificate. Unlicenced boarders aren't monitored by anyone and operating outside the law invalidates their insurance. It also means they could be shut down at anytime and leave you with no holiday care!

Hi. To the people who want a instantaneous response to any phone call, message, text or email, please remember:-

1. I don't keep my mobile phone attached to my ear. You may do, but I wasn't brought up to.
2. When walking the dogs, I focus on them, and not answering my phone, especially near a busy road etc.
3. Boarding dogs, takes a lot of time cleaning, caring for the dogs, playing with them, preparing food, filing in paperwork etc.
4. I do like down time for myself, such as motorbiking, eating out, going to see family and friends. You don't work 24/7 for your employer, so why do you expect me to be on call 24/7?
