Good morning, we hope you are well. A small reminder for anyone that's looking for Ryan to come out to help with their dog.
Due to the building of the Newport location, we have had to put a pause on Ryan working in the community and inside people’s houses for nearly 2 years now.
Now that the dust has settled and his diary is looking slightly more flexible, we are now able to facilitate dog training/ behavioural advice in your home.
There are some matters that will need to be taken into consideration before the booking is agreed on. The experience over the years has given us a few pointers that are non-negotiables. These can be found in the synopsis on Collar.
All of these can now be found on the Collar App (here’s a step-by-step guide on how to find it)
- Head to ‘Ry’s Train and Shop’
- Scroll right to Behavioural Training
- The session will be called ‘Follow Up at Your Address’
- Please READ the synopsis
We are sure this will be good news for many, Ryan cannot wait to get started on helping families and their dogs again.
Happy Monday
Ry's Team ♥️

A massive thank you to everyone that turned up for this month's Big Social Meet at Firestone Copse in Wootton.
We met at 2pm just below the car park and headed into the Copse for the dogs to enjoy the space.
Once we'd hit the river we let the dogs enjoy the water and walked back to the car.
As always, greatly appreciated for everyone that turns up to our Big Social Meets. Please never worry on how much of the route you complete... after all, it's your Sunday too!
The next one will be our 100th Meet. Please, please, please make some time and come along to the next one as there'll be a bit of celebration for it.
The dates will be released very soon !!

Good afternoon, we hope you are well and the dogs are enjoying the sun ☀️
We have now released our Indoor Dog Day Care packages for the NHS on our Collar platform (our booking system).
Some of the smaller requirements are:
- Dog needs to be an inducted member of our day care
- For the Owner/ keeper of the dog to have NHS in their name on their profile (image below for clarification)
- Some sort of NHS ID with you for the first session to ensure we know that you work for the NHS (we do have a good idea of who does already)
- To have read and understand the Terms and Conditions of the membership
The team has been working on this project for several weeks, with the NHS serving as a trial period. We are also considering how to integrate the Blue Light Card into this initiative. Currently, the focus is solely on NHS staff.
Many thanks, Ry’s Team

Hey I’m Ryan and welcome to a little bit about me.
Just a small bit about me and my history as I think it is important...
I'm an ex RAVC dog handler in the British army. I have been to Afghanistan with my dog and served for a total of 10 years with and without a dog, I have the skills to aid in search, tracker, obedience, natural agility and protection dogs. Since leaving the army I have kept up my passion (dog training) and have volunteered for the RSPCA as a dog walker. I have also worked for a local disability dog charity that specialise in providing dogs for Disabled children. I have also aided in training of gun dogs in retrieval and boosting drive.
All of my qualifications can be found on LinkedIn if you feel that these are important, I am currently sitting 3 more qualifications dog related and more in business. I consider myself as a good all round professional with a vast amount of knowledge in Canines. I've trained numerous breeds in all sizes and shapes with all very different temperaments and quirks, both pets ,working dogs and best friends. I love what I do and firmly believe that your work will always speak louder than any reputation or qualification. To that end I’ve always said that I am 40% qualified and 60% experienced.
I host lots of different sessions for you and your dog such as Ry’s Puppy Chaos ( a socialisation session ), Ry’s Up, Down , Sit and Stay ( a group learning session ), Ry’s Big Social Meet ( a free social walk ) , Ry’s Dog Day Care ( Half and Full day care), Ry’s Theory and Cake ( Dog theory, Cake with no dogs ) and One to One sessions from your home and around the local towns and streets. All of these sessions can be found in the ‘ events ’ part of the page.
Ry’s Dog Training has turned into a full time business over the last few years and I couldn't be happier for it. I've made some lovely and close friends along the way as well as learnt something new most days. Im constantly looking to expand and grow my little business into something much much bigger. Im happy to listen to any constructive criticism or ideas on how I can do this... after all the saying is ‘ two minds is better than one’. We have recently grown a little with a couple of new members to the team. Chermaine ( all the background stuff and helps out with Ry’s Dog Day Care ) and Mark ( from Trophy Pet Foods ). Mark is the franchise holder for the pet food company called Trophy. We are in close contact and im proud to say that we are associates with in business. More help is always encouraged so if you would like to join our team then please don’t hesitate to ask.
I own my very own German Shepherd, who had a litter in December 18, she had a litter of four puppies who have know flown the roost, I couldn't be happier on how it went and how smooth Poppy has made it for me ! Clever Girl ! So amongst all of the craziness came some experience of whelping and looking after new born puppies until 8 weeks. One more thing I bring to the table.
The most recent update is we now have a Centre! have a look on Ry’s Dog Centre for all the details.
So there... the man in the van, the guy behind all the rumours and chat, the fella with an ever growing business and reputation.
