Doggy Day Care Thatcham and Newbury established in 2015.
I have a 5 star council licence, number 54724 and 5 star FB reviews.
I don't often have vacant spaces as most of my dogs have been with me years but I have availability at the moment either for single or multiple days.
I am open Monday to Thursday drop off from 7:50am to 9am and pick up by 6:15pm
I purely do day care so no holiday dogs, ad hoc dogs or walking other dogs apart from my day care dogs. I have found this way the dogs get to know who to expect every week and become friends with those dogs and it is a more relaxed atmosphere without having new faces appear every week.
Specialising in small and medium breeds, puppies are also welcome. Sorry I cannot take large breeds or full mature males.
My husband also works in the business with me so there is always someone at home with the dogs if I am out doing the walking.
We are both first aid trained and complete annual professional training relevant to our business. Our house is both Council and Vet checked. Being licenced we are regulated by the law to have procedures and safety measurements in hand.
Based near The Discovery Centre on Lower Way in Thatcham a road that leads onto the A4 to Reading and the M4 one way, and Newbury in the opposite direction.
We have a lovely large house with multiple rooms with sofas and dog beds in each room, water in each room and lots of toys to entertain them. There is plenty of room for your dogs to play and relax in. We also have a dedicated safe dog garden with a tilt and turn covered area to protect them from the elements, and where I can play ball with them.

I will need to know the breed of your dog, their s*x, their age, if they are neutered I know puppies wont be. And if they are walked on or off lead in the park. Then we can arrange a meet and greet so you can see and be happy where your dog will come, who they will be with and meet my husband and I.

Giving a shout out to this local nursery as we should support local businesses. Their plants are great and they are a lovely couple. My hanging baskets are from them this year, as are alot of my plants and they look amazing. Highly recommended.

I do have limited availability at moment. I don't do holiday dogs purely day care, as I feel this makes for a more relaxed home from home environment. I am open Monday to Thursday.
I have been doing day care for nine years and many of my dogs have been with me for a great length of that time.
I am fully licensed and insured. I have first aid for dogs and have done other on going training.
Also, there is usually always 2 adults in the house, we have a dedicated safe dog garden with a tilt and turn roof and the dogs have multiple rooms to play and relax in.
Unfortunately I don't take large breeds, full mature males and not every breed.

Its coming up to Christmas and the shops are putting in nice looking Raw hide treats for our furry Friends. Please do not buy Raw Hide, it is dangerous, It can cause choking and blockages in their body and they can die. It can also make them very thirsty. The chemicals they use to make them are so dangerous and toxic. Please look at this You Tube video and this will help convince you.

One of my cilents owns Newbury Barbers 2112, they have just relocated to a swanky new building opposite their old one in Park Way. It is lovely and all the guys that work there are great to. Pop in say hello and book that cut.
