Things are in full swing at Billy Stud – the 2025 show season has kicked off!
This month has been full of jump training at home with the young and older horses in preparation for the year ahead. All is being done under the watchful eyes of Roger and Archie while William is away competing and managing in the UAE.
It's very exciting for us to see what the next string of young, up-and-coming horses look like ahead of shows and auctions!

Very exciting to have Billy Picador representing Team GB in the Nations Cup 🇬🇧

Following an invitation to compete in the CSIO4* Nations Cup in Sharjah (UAE), the following team have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team Audevard UK. The competition takes place between the 30 January – 2 February 2025 at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club.

🌟 Lily Freeman-Attwood, from Buckinghamshire, with the 11-year-old gelding Johnnie Walker, owned by Emmy Freeman-Attwood.

🌟William Funnell, from Surrey, with the 13-year-old bay mare Equine America Billy Picador, owned by The Billy Stud.

🌟Joseph Stockdale - Showjumper, from Northampton, with the 11-year-old chestnut stallion Ebanking, jointly owned by Barbara Hester and Laura Stockdale.

🌟 Georgia Tame from West Sussex, with either the 11-year-old grey stallion Just Special, owned by The Breen Team or the 10-year-old bay gelding Fanfan De Beaufour, owned by Christopher Warren.

How has it already been a month? What an incredible auction it was! A huge part of its success was thanks to our amazing team, and of course, our fantastic partners 👏🏻
