KITTENS/MUM SAVED BY LITTER PICKERS - UPDATE - Mum and 3 kittens are doing really well and settling in lovely. They have visited the vets and all healthy, a little too young to start vaccinations. We are hoping to home them either all 3 kittens together or 3 kittens and mum and baby💕💕
They are all very friendly and loving all their cat trees and toys.
We would love some very special homes for them, where they are very spoilt.
Thank you so much for all your good wishes, this family are extremely lucky, and most of the rescues we do are thanks to all of you for being my eyes and ears, thank you a million times.

AN EMOTIONAL RESCUE TODAY
A couple who were litter picking on Suffield Hill near Scalby alerted us this afternoon to a carrier that had kittens in down a steep bank . They were kind enough to leave a blue bag tied to the fence indicating where. Kate and myself were extremely upset to find mum and 3 kittens screaming for help and soaked, obviously tossed from the side of the road and left to die 💕💕 only because the couple stopped to have a rest and the kittens heard them and cried out, were we alerted, thank you so much.
They are safe, warm and have had 3 lots of helpings of food. They will have a little bath tonight and go to the vets tomorrow for their first vaccination.
I know a few people have filled forms in for adoption. We would love these kittens and mum to be rehomed asap so they can be spoilt with lots of love💕💕💕🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛
To the people who did this, you had not phoned us, there were many better options to the one you chose, thank goodness they were found.

IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME🐈‍⬛💕
On my way back from visiting the vets this morning, heading towards Cayton Bay roundabout i witnessed a black cat cross over the main A165 frantically trying to go through the fencing but not able to, so thinking of crossing the road again. 🐈‍⬛
I drove to the roundabout and turned round to go towards Scarborough, parking in the nearby bus stop, I had treats in the car, the cat was frantically trying to get through but couldn’t, I had to be careful not to scare her into the busy road, I went to the road side of her and she continued to run up the fence line until she found a tunnel, she ran through and I was able to coax her for some treats which she ravished.
I made a call to Mark at the sanctuary and asked him urgently to bring food and a trap, less than 10 minutes later the trap was set, it didn’t take long for her to go in for food. We transferred her from the trap to a carrier and found the microchip.
Rey had been reported missing since early June, from Cayton, as soon as we saw the name we realised it was Rey whose family never gave up looking for her. A phone call was made to an extremely shocked and happy family.
Rey has been lost for over 5 months but tonight she will sleep well and warm, and her family very relieved.
It’s just incredible that we were on the A165 just at that moment. A very happy ending 💕🐈‍⬛💕🐈‍⬛

VERY CONCERNED for this little kitten, only 7 months old and pregnant. Out on this terrible night and only been going outside apparently only for the last two weeks.
LOST OPPOSITE B & Q
Please help, if anyone lives around this area, as it is very serious and I’m very worried for this little kitten

IS THIS YOUR CAT - several concerned members of the public have asked us to try to help this cat, it is believed to have been left behind after the owner moved, the cat is frequently seen around William Street Coach Car Park and Hope Street.

URGENT FOSTER HOMES NEEDED
Could you give the gift of love - and change the life of any of these ‘fostered’ cats.
Gary is about 5 years old, wants to be really spoilt, only cat as gets jealous of any other cats. He’s very sweet.

Bertie the senior tabby and brother Benny the black cat are around 14/15 years old old and have lost their family, they are looking for a quiet home with no animals or children as they are shy. Are at a foster home now, but need to find another foster home urgently.

Mojo - beautiful 5 years old coming into a temporary foster home next week but needing a permanent home, very friendly and gives kisses. Needs a quiet home, with outdoor area also.

Floyd- very special young cat, ginger , around 5 years old, he has had a lot of trauma in his life to the extent of biting his own tail off, after months not looked at, he was rushed to the all night vet as he had raw nerves hurting him when he moved. He was very poorly and lucky to survive and he’s been with a fosterer for the last few months and doing really well, he is confident, I think a quiet home with no other pets or young children as he wants constant attention. Seems to smile at you.
