121 tonight was with Gus!😁

He is in the adolescent stage and loves attention, so was jumping up at people constantly. His owner is expecting a baby soon too, so wanted to know what to do to practice before baby arrives too. Gus absolutely smashed it, so we had time to brush up on his recall and emergency stop too.

Gus had me laughing throughout with his antics...one of which was to tip the bowl of water over which was out for him to have a drink and then lie in it proud as punch! 😅

Well done Gus!👏

My 121 tonight was Hooper the Shih Tzu!

Hooper is just hitting adolescence at 8 months and has become over excited and frustrated around other dogs, resulting in him fixating, lunging and barking.

I gave his owners some skills to use and then worked on it around the stuffy dog, using some engage/disengage and rewarding him for making the right choices.

Hooper was such a smart lad...well done!👏
