It’s a special day today.

My husband Clive’s birthday, Leo’s 10 birthday and Charley’s 8th gotcha day.

The treats have been doled out on demand today and we had a lovely meal out

We always wear our yellow when we are out and about thanks to and Sarah’s incredible determination to help anxious dogs get some space.

The yellow harness certainly gets us noticed and lets people know that we need space.

A very special make this week.
A memory bear made from a dog lead, bandana, bunting and a precious t shirt that all represent heartfelt memories.

It’s always a bit scary unpicking the stitches and cutting into important items like these to harvest the fabric that’s needed to make a memory bear.

Once all the pieces are cut out I breathe a bit easier.

Now this bear and the memories interwoven within every thread is back with its owner.

I know she loves it because she sent me a message as soon as it arrived.

This is just one of the reasons I enjoy making things for people.

It’s Charley’s 9th birthday today and

It’s a day created for those of us crazy dog people who love to wear matching outfits with their dogs.

We also celebrate Charley’s birthday by wearing matching accessories because she was the main inspiration behind Leo Charley and Me.

She rocks a pretty collar and bandana!

Happy dogs enjoying freedom fields and long walks on quiet beaches.

We always wear yellow when we are out and about but there was nobody around to see it today.

Totally chilled dog whose only bark was at the seagulls flying low.

Leo is only ever off lead in secure fields but he loves the beach and a biothane long line gives him plenty of freedom.

Out of season we have been the only people on the beach. Absolutely perfect for a reactive dog and low in stress for us too.

I’m celebrating my nervy, anxious and reactive dog today. We are happy to wear yellow because it tells people we need space.

Leo has a spinal condition which causes him a lot of pain and occasionally he has wobbly legs which means he gets spooked by things you wouldn’t imagine. Anything out of the ordinary will make him anxious.

He has been attacked by off lead dogs on 4 separate occasions and is now very reactive to other dogs, bikes, scooters,screaming children and other loud noises.

We have completely changed our lives to accommodate this fearful golden boy.

Wearing yellow has really helped our reactive dog journey as more and more people learn that a dog in yellow needs space and consideration to help them cope with the scary world around them.

Sarah is our champion and we are so grateful for her campaign to get dogs in yellow noticed and the meaning of yellow recognised world wide.

A little space goes a long way and eases the life of anxious dogs and their owners.

What a fab way to spend time with other small businesses networking, learning and listening to inspirational business success stories at the .

When you work alone in your business like I do, the opportunity to meet up with business owners is the same position is so brilliant and makes me feel less alone.

Lots of valuable information was shared by and in the breakout sessions, which will undoubtedly help me improve my website.

I now have lots added to my to do list that will help drive my business forward. 😊

I also had the chance to meet up with the pet business possé who are such good fun and the source of much laughter and support. 🥰

We are all navigating the trials, tribulations and the occasional wobbles that occur when running a business. It’s so reassuring to know I can find friendly support when I need it.

The date for those last minute Christmas orders is 16th December and they will be sent first class by Wednesday 18th to ensure they arrive in time for your pups to be dressed and ready for the festivities. 🐾🐾🎄

We will be closing for the holidays on 18th December until mid January so I can get all my admin and tax sorted out on time.

So if you’ve been planning to buy one of our gorgeous bows or bandanas tomorrow is your last chance.
