Blitz is a poundie and searching for his new home 🙂

he is a lurcher, although more large whippet size, he is only a baby ( approx a year old) and is very loving and friendly!

he is currently under assessment but taking applications for him

He is very dog and people social! such a loving boy!

This poor little lady ended up in the pound, at the grand old age of 13!!!

she’s spent 10 days in the council pound and has been given a chance of a peaceful retirement, rather than ending her days in the kennels 😞

she has been named “Edie “ by her fosters

Laura and Liv are going to take great care of you.

now it’s time to decompress in the comfort of a home ❤️

I cannot imagine the trauma of being taken into kennels at her age

shame on those who abandoned her and walked away from any responsibility !

Thank you to Jill for driving in horrific traffic all day just to make this happen for her 🙏

Edie you are safe now ❤️

I’m thrilled to say Figgy is home!!!

he’s been adopted 🙂

Miss piggy is looking for her forever home/ foster home

she is approx 3 years old

she is currently still in stray kennels and needs a chance of getting out 😞

sadly she isn’t fond of other dogs so she will need to be an only dog

she is very loving and loves people, just not dogs!

she has been bred from and discarded 😞

could you offer Miss piggy the sofa she deserves?

Here are some of the dogs that need their homes and are the least desirable 😞

The little ones always go fast, the bully / large breeds are always the last to go

All lovely dogs, all desperate for their forever homes

Meet Lassie and Aslan

These Greyhounds have come straight from racing kennels

They have both raced and been retired

Lassie is 5 years old

Aslan is 2 years old

They do not have to be re homed together

Both dogs have been socialised with other dogs and could live with another dog

No cats/ small animals

⭐️ can live with other dogs

⭐️ can live with children 10 plus ( only because they haven’t been brought up around young children)

⭐️ will be able to be left for up to 4 hours

⭐️ may need further housetraining as have only known kennel life

She was impeccably behaved in the busy crowds and was loved by everybody 🙂

Anybody going to Ellingham Show today? , Dumbledore Vets have got a stall and are kindly raising money for Poppys Pals Rescue :) come along and have a go at “spin the wheel” :)

We are all set up and ready to go for a fun filled day at Ellingham Show! Come and find us over by the dog show area - have a go on our Spin the Wheel in aid of Poppys Pals Rescue or have a go at operating on our poorly patient who has eaten something they shouldn’t have!!
