Darcey suffers from a degenerative spinal condition and has been having a course of intensive physiotherapy and hydrotherapy! 💙

January is Weight Loss Awareness Month!!

Did you know that 1 in 3 pet parents do not recognise their pets weight issue, with 97% of owners struggling to recognise a healthy weight for their pet🐶🐱🐾

Why Weight Loss Matters for Pets...

Much like humans, pets face significant health risks when they carry extra weight. Obesity in pets can lead to:

- Joint Pain and Mobility Issues: Excess weight puts undue pressure on joints, increasing the risk of arthritis.
- Heart and Respiratory Problems: Carrying extra pounds makes it harder for pets to breathe and for their hearts to function efficiently.
- Diabetes: Overweight pets are at a much higher risk of developing diabetes, which requires lifelong management.

Happy Friday 😊

This is the lovely Fitch he is nearly 18 years old!! 😱 Fitch has been having bi weekly Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy with us and Cheshire Canine Hydrotherapy at Groom & Room Ltd for the past 4 years now. He is such a sweet heart and is superb good condition for his age this just shows what consistency does for your pets. Fitch still has great range of motion and nice muscle mass 💪

️We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas/ New year and are ready to take on 2025!!

We are back out treating on Monday 6th and have a very busy January ahead!
