📣📢 We're in the news! 📣📢

I'm still so pleased about this (it might take me a while to come down).

The online version of the article has just come out so I thought I would share it with you.

Rebecca was amazing to work with and her cat Fable showed just how hilarious and also how insightful animals can be.

I love this job! I'm going to continue floating on cloud 9!! 💛❤️

Have a great day everyone! 🐝🐝

'Pet psychics' are growing in popularity, so Rebecca consulted Perthshire animal communicator Amy Collins about her cat's inner world.

Bee at Peace is in the paper!!

I'm so incredibly proud of this. I've waited a few months for the article to appear and have been on tenterhooks waiting to see what it said.

I was really sceptical when I received a call from Rebecca out of the blue. My line of work is exactly the kind of thing that can be used for drama and shock articles but my intuition told me to go forward with it and it was spot on.

Rebecca was lovely to work with and Fable was absolutely hilarious and a really beautiful soul! We had such a great time talking that when our conversation was due to end, Fable asked to keep things going so we chatted while I made my way home from work. I'll tell you more about Fable and her communication later on.

This might just be a local paper but for someone like myself that is a bit more cautious and not one for shouting about what I'm doing, I'm proud to have done this and gotten the word out about animal communication. It lets people know that there are other forms of support out there for them and their animal companions.

Hopefully one day everyone will be able to talk to their animals but until this happens, I'm here and happy to hel you and your animal companion.

For now though, I'm going to celebrate 🥳 Happy weekend everyone! 🐝🐝❤️🐝🐝

DOES ANYONE HAVE A HOME FOR A HEDGEHOG? 🦔

HogsCroft Hedgehog Rescue are looking for a number of release sites in Dundee, Perth, Auchterarder and Bridge of Earn (please see post below for more precise locations) to release now healthy hogs who are ready to get back to a normal life.

If you can support, please contact the rescue on the mobiIe number in the post below. OR, if know anyone that might have a suitable garden, that connects to other gardens, and would be willing to purchase a hedgehog house from the rescue to place in a shaded area, please tag them or share this post with them.

Thank you 🦔💛

Update

Thanks everyone for your amazing response - we are busy going through all the replies received and will follow up those we feel will work best for our hedgehogs. Due to the huge response if you don’t hear from us over the course of the next few days then we will have found somewhere else. Due to the number of sick hedgehogs we have in our current care, who need our time and the focus in finding appropriate homes for the ones we need to release, we cannot respond to all but appreciate everyone’s offers. Thanks again 😊❤️🦔

We have some hedgehogs who cannot be released exactly where found due to safety issues. When this happens we look for people with gardens close by who would be willing to purchase a hedgehog house from us and offer support feeding

Gardens around the DD1 4NG area - especially towards Richmond Terrsce area

Gardens around Mount Tabor Road, Kinnoul Hill Perth

Gardens around PH2 9AZ Bridge of Earn

Gardens around Caledonian Crescent Auchterarder

Most of the hedgehogs requiring a release garden are ready now. Please note you must live within half a mile or so of the areas mentioned above. Hedgehogs have a muscle memory - they know their ‘patch’ and can also only be released to areas where there is an existing hedgehog population. Your garden must have access to other gardens and a fully shaded area where a hedgehog house can sit.

Please text the rescue on 07484 649027 leaving your full name and address including post code and we will get back in touch as soon as we can.

Thank you

Do you listen to yourself?

I mean, do you really listen and pick up the messages that your body and soul send you?

One of my biggest tips for you if you would like to do animal communication work, is to pay attention to the signals that are sent to you each and every day.

It's not always easy to pick up the signals, especially when life gets busy. Meals can be skipped, hydration (what's that?!), and we insist on pushing ourselves far past our limits. Life is busy, there's no way around it and the to-do list is never-ending, but this doesn't mean you always need to be moving at 100mph.

Rest and balance are key in animal communication.

An exhausted body and a busy mind make it hard to hear the signals our body and soul is screaming at us, which will not only leave us feeling depleted but will make animal communication very hard!

My advice...do as the bees do.

There will always be things that require work and effort but wherever possible, slow down, smell the flowers and notice the world around you while you go about your tasks. If you can, work as a team to make big tasks easier - bees work superbly as a team.

If you find that you're tired, have a rest. You may not have the joy of napping in beautiful flowers like bees, but you can create a comfortable and soothing environment to rest in. Personally, I'm a fan of a fluffy blanket.

These small acts will bring about some peace for your body and soul and make room for you to hear the messages coming through. Thankfully, not every action or change needs to be big to be effective. Personally, I couldn't do my work without these.

Try these practices out and let me know what differences you notice.

Wishing you all a beautiful and peaceful week 🐝🐾💛

It's spring time! 😁💐🌷

Isn't it beautiful! The evenings are lighter, it's slightly warmer and our animals friends are waking up.
This includes sweet little hedgehogs 🦔 If you have previously had a friendly garden visitor, you might have found they have reappeared recently. Our little friends help keep our gardens beautiful (slugs eating your plants anyone?) and are always a delight to see.

If you can, take a little time to check your garden for anything that could cause harm:

🦔 Netting, litter or garden items that your hedgehog friend could get tangled in
🦔 If you have a pond, make sure it has a sloped beach at an edge to allow your animals friends to get out of the water safely
🦔 Leave room for your friend to get under or past fencing in a corner so they can visit all the gardens they need (hedgehogs will cover several miles per night looking for food)

In return, your hedgehog friend will continue to visit and bring many a smile to your face when you see them!

Did you know that a robin can lose up to 10% of its body weight in a single winters night just trying to keep warm?

After the first proper cold snap of the winter last week, I've noticed a change in the garden birds eating habits, have you?
Where seed would normally have been very popular, suet pellets and fat balls have become the favourite in my garden.

Our bird friends need support all year round but this is especially important in the winter months. They look for more fat and nutrient dense foods to help give them the energy they need to keep warm.

To help your birds you can put out:

• fat balls
• suet pellets
• mealworms
• nyjer seed (for smaller birds)
• calcium worms
• sunflower hearts
• peanuts
• winter fallen fruit

Using bird feeders will be appreciated by many but don't forget to place seed and crumbled fat balls in more protective areas like just under shrubs or hedges for ground feeding and more cautious birds. Also make sure to clean your feeders with hot soapy water regularly to help stop the spread of diseases.

Bonfire night and the evenings surrounding it can be a difficult time for animals. Their strong hearing results in many struggling with anxiety and panic at hearing the loud bang of fireworks.

For those who have anxious companions, here are some things that may help to make the time easier.

For animals that look for their guardians reassurance, find the quietest room in your house and stay in their with your companion. Keep the door closed and add TV or calming music as background to reduce the sound of the fireworks. Shows like Bluey have proven to be very popular and YouTube is filled with calming playlists for your companions of all species.

Alternatively, Classic FM are hosting their annual calming pet session from 5-9pm on the 5th of November (https://www.classicfm.com/radio/shows-presenters/pet-classics/).

Make sure to take in your companions favourite toys. Play time will not only distract them but help to create positive association, potentially reducing the stress caused by fireworks in the future.

Tasty treats are also a good addition to your supplys for the evening. Include kongs and chews for doggy companions that will help to keep them distracted. Make sure these are the most amazing treats that your companion will get so they learn that fireworks = amazing treats. For those who are highly food motivated, this can really help.

If your companion prefer to hide and be on their own, make sure to have plenty of spaces available for them. Add blankets and jumpers, ideally with your scent on them, to help make the space warm and cosy and also to provide additional reassurance by having you close.

Keep all of your pets indoors! Both cats and dogs may bolt in panic if they get startled suddenly and could injure themselves or get lost. This is a good time to ensure your companions microchip details are up to date!

If you need to take your dog outside to the toilet, make sure that all gates to your property are closed and put on your friend's lead before opening the door so they can't run.

Small furries can benefit from additional bedding, hugs, playtime, food, music and healing as well, the same as our other companions so pleased don't feel that you cannot support them in any way during this time. If they are homed outdoors you may wish to take them inside for the evening where they can escape the majority of the noise.

If you are a reiki practitioner or are trained in healing of any kind and know that this works well for your animal, schedule some time in the evening to work with them. A blissed out animal will care less about fireworks!

Lastly, lead by example. Our connection with our animal friends is incredibly strong. Any panic or anxiousness you have will be felt by your companions so no matter how they are, make sure to be the calm and positive beacon of light that they need to guide them through the evening.

Take care everyone and look out for one another 💛

Hi everyone!

It's so good to be back on to the page and connecting with you all, it's been a while.

I've been working away quietly in the background, doing communications periodically but giving myself time to just be. During this time a lot has changed, I'll update you on that in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here and still doing communications and am here to help if you need anything.

Much love xx 🐾

Hello, welcome to Bee at Peace

My name is Amy, I’m an Animal Communicator, Animal Carer, Holistic Therapist and Angelic Reiki Master Teacher from Scotland. My passion has always been about helping people and animals and that is exactly what Bee at Peace is all about.

The services that you’ll find here are not only for you but also for animals in your life.

Animal Communication is a two way conversation between a person and an animal. An animal’s wisdom and the depth of their emotions shouldn’t be underestimated and animal communication allows us to hear what we already feel deep in our bones. However, there are occasions when we notice a difference in our animals and just can’t quite pinpoint the reason for this or sometimes we can’t pinpoint exactly what is wrong. They might be reacting differently to objects, situations or even food, things that previously would have hardly made them blink. They may just seem a little less like themselves. When you face an issue like this animal communication can help. By having a conversation with your animal, it’s possible to hear exactly what is happening with them, to establish how they’re feeling about things in their life and to see if they would like any help or changes made to improve their situation. Not only can this help to resolve any concerns or problems, it’s giving an animal the chance to be heard which can be a huge relief for them. Animals have learnt to communicate with us as well as they can through sounds and actions but this doesn’t beat the chance to tell you something in their own words. If you would like to hear your animal’s perspective on their life or if you feel they need support but are unsure of exactly what they need then this telepathic form of communication can be the perfect helper.

Angelic Reiki can be very beneficial. Animal’s come from a place of heart and have superb instincts which are finely tuned. This combination makes animals highly aware of energy, making them very open to energy healings such as Angelic Reiki. It’s great to watch an animal getting a treatment as they snuggle in to your hands and start to glow. Our beloved animals don’t just carry their own stresses and worries, they often try to carry ours too in an attempt to lessen our burdens. Like us, animals have physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies and like us these can become tired, have blocks and carry old energy which is why Angelic Reiki can benefits animals equally as much as humans.
