🌞 Scent Ops Gold Success! 🌟
What a lovely evening in the sunshine for a challenging and rewarding search!

Our talented teams tackled a mix of storage bays, a long corridor, and an open yard, all packed with tricky hides designed to test both dog and handler.

🐾 Hides included:
🔹 A sneaky scent on a wheelbarrow, where dogs had to work without visual contact with their handler.
🔹 One tucked away on the floor of an empty greenhouse – a true test of independent searching.
🔹 And a final one nestled on the side of a bailer machine, hidden deep in a corner.

💪 Some fantastic problem-solving and beautiful handling on display. Well done to everyone who took part, you and your dogs did brilliantly! 👏

What a fantastic evening for scentwork! The sun was shining, the dogs were focused, and the search teams truly rose to the challenge. 💪

The Silver-level search took place in a unique setting — starting in an alleyway outside a busy workshop and moving indoors. Hides were placed on a sign tucked in a corner of the alley, and another in a box under a bench in the second room of the workshop.

Every dog worked their noses off, and it was a joy to watch them navigate the changing environments with confidence and precision. Amazing work from both dogs and handlers alike!

Luna has come such a long way and we couldn’t be prouder of her — and her amazing owner, Shaunna 🐾✨

Here’s what Shaunna had to say about their journey:

"I started training with Jennie when I felt like I'd hit a brick wall with my spaniel Luna. We'd been struggling with Luna's attention span and distractions for a while and within the first session Jennie had made a number of suggestions to help regain Luna's focus. A year later and we've been able to build on these foundations to get Luna working in highly distracting environments with 100% focus.

Jennie's knowledge, professionalism, and personality keeps us coming back. There is no challenge too big, and whilst she can't promise perfection she will try everything she can think of to help with your training needs. Classes are small, friendly and engaging and I will always recommend Scentsational Scentwork to anyone looking to get into scent detection with their dog!”
