To our dear ByBenji online family, this is the post nobody ever wants to share.

There is no hiding from the fact that over the past 3 years, the global economic crisis with it’s ever increasing manufacturing costs, (which like everyone we have had to bear the brunt of), means regretfully we’ve taken the difficult decision to wind down production.

We wish to thank every single person & pooch for your amazing support over the years.
You have been the life and soul of our biltong world, and it has been our absolute privilege to serve you both online and wonderfully live.

We’ve loved seeing and hearing your own ByBenji stories so please go ahead and post them up.

Again, our biggest thank you to YOU for being a part of our incredible journey.

Happy first of December…let the advent-ures begin!
Leading up to the big day, we’ll be giving you lots of ByBenji festive ideas, including ways to make your dogs dreams come true…Biltongeer style!
Thought we’d kick off with something that may seem so simply, but, did you know today could be the most risky little day of all for treat givers?
Just think! It’s the first day that human advent calendars will be opened and ofcourse, your dog will be eager to join in! Let’s face it, whose dog isn’t clever enough to work out there’s something interesting they may want to investigate?
It’s been said many, many times , but always worth another time , pleeeeese keep your confectionary away from any pet. Chocolate contains a chemical called ‘theobromine’, which is toxic to dogs…did you know the darker the chocolate the more poisonous it is?
So here’s the thing. Keep a good stock of something they can consume near by, so that if they spy you enjoying your treat and they deserve that reward, you can satisfy their senses with a superior sniff, the high value treat that will keep them not only satisfied but completely safe…B y B e n j I …there, we didn’t really need to spell it out did we??
