My mate spy has come back into training after some rehab. He has got very weak feet that can’t cope with his body weight and conformation at 40mph but the guy loves to gallop so we help him achieve greatness. We opted for hoof casts to strengthen the hoof wall then popped his slippers on with 3D pads and dental impression material.
Only the best for this guy minus the kitchen sink.

***A message to my clients.***

During these difficult times I am following the advice of the Farriers registration council, Worshipful company of farriers and of course the government.

At present I will continue to shoe as normal and honour appointments booked in. Please be patient if i need to make changes so to accommodate everyone. I may, where possible try and bring appointments forward if a total lockdown is imminent. Obviously emergency’s will be prioritised.

As long as your horse isn’t dangerous I’m happy to help myself as long as they are in the stable and easily accessible and good to catch. I will be following the social distancing guidelines and expect my clients to do the same. There is no need for me to have any human contact or close interaction when going about my daily rounding ( hands off ladies 😂)

I won’t be accepting any tea, coffee or snacks 😭 so don’t be offended when I decline, when this is over this will be the first thing to change but currently it should help the diet!

Until it is illegal for me to carry on my business I will on the grounds of animal welfare. If I develop symptoms of course I will have to stop for a while.

With the current equine flu crisis, please be honest with me if you suspect any of your horses, or other horses on the yard are showing signs off illness.
It is no problem to cancel your appointment and i will prioritise your rebooking.
Would like to reduce the risk of spreading the infection.
