Beautiful Nahla who is being a great Mummy found a catnip toy today that her foster mummy bought for her! It was still in the packing but that didn’t stop her and she has been carrying it around since she found it !

REMEMBER: Recycle your used printer ink cartridges and raise money for Sunshine Cat Rescue. It's really easy and the donations it generates are vital.

We have a cartridge collection box in Morrisons, Carterton and at the Deddington branch of the Hook Norton Veterinary Group, St Thomas Street, Deddington OX15 0SY. where you can also drop off your used printer cartridges.

Sunshine Cat Rescue have happily and successfully rehomed many many cats and kittens over the years but there are a few older cats, some with medical conditions that are harder to find a forever home. These cats become our Sponsor Cats.

These two timid beauties came into our care when their owner passed away. They have always loved their igloos as they could hide but slowly over the months they have found more confidence, first Max and now Tina.
Yet again a lovely family came along and offered them a loving, quiet, forever home and today they left us and no doubt they will feel overwhelmed but we are hoping it won’t take too long this time before they find their confidence again.

Despite all the unbelievable frustrating situations we are made aware of each and everyday and very often unable to help, SCR have had a wonderful week! Often I cannot post some things but you will have to trust me when I share that 7 challenging cats have found fantastic forever homes during the last few weeks, a few have left already whilst the others will have to wait a little longer.
We are very grateful for those humans who love the kitties that have extra needs etc.
