Rapid likes the end of the sofa
Minx is cuddled in and likes to be touching me
Wild ….. well she is buried under the blanket and under my legs.

Memo likes her privacy in her open crate
Rosie is currently on the rug but is often on the bed behind the sofa

Mini Camp 15/16 November

Some part spaces/individual spaces have become available unexpectedly. A full space is two sessions of 1.5 hours each day.
Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning spaces have come up (one higher grade and one lower grade). And one Sunday only space (higher grade).

I’ve been asked if I plan to run the KC Shows over the winter again.

Currently I’m not planning to.

Obviously there is a much larger volume of traffic and dogs than I ever normally have at the venue. I am keen to avoid upsetting my neighbours. Any complains would jeopardise all my teaching which would not be ideal!

Also, there was a lot of moving equipment and sorting parking etc and it was a very small number of us doing the jobs.

So it’s not that I will never run the shows again but currently I am not planning them this winter but will focus on putting on more workshops and perhaps a simulated show for those that need that experience.

Thanks to those who attended last year - your support was appreciated.

Those who won vouchers last season, I foolishly didn’t print an expiry date on them so this is notice of vouchers are valid until 30 November 2025. Many show vouchers have a 3 or 6 month expiry date so I have allowed longer than this.

On Wednesday we ran first of the small team for GB at the Agility World Championships in Sweden. A solid run and our team finished 7th after the jumping. We run the team agility on Friday morning. I’m super proud of Sizzle 🥰😇

Winter Workshop Dates

Due to demand here are the next lot of winter workshop dates:

Sunday 19 October - Puppy Group FULL

Friday 31 October - Jump Skills and Sequences - planning to put these sessions on Bookwhen

Saturday 1 November - Tunnels and Jumps FULL

Saturday 15 November and Sunday 16 November - mini “camp” - will do a separate post to look at different format options FULL

Sunday 23 November - Puppy Group (FULL)

Sunday 14 December - Full Day including Discrimination and Contacts - planning to put these sessions on Bookwhen

27/28 December - One day for regular class members only for fun steeplechase type course running.
The other day will be open for others to book. Day to be confirmed once I see which day suits my regular guys first.

Saturday 3 January Advanced Course Running - 2 courses from EO/AWC judges. Run a course, then train it. We build another course and do the same, run then train.

Workshops are £38 per space
Camp will have a separate post about format and pricing
Course running - price to be determined depending on format of the day.

Huge congratulations to Karen Cleland and Harris for winning the Medium Scottish Agility Dog of the Year.

They have worked super hard and I’m just delighted for them.
