The general groom includes;
Bathing & drying
Styling & trimming
Nail clipping
Teeth descaling (if dog will comply)
Ear plucking (if required)
A**l gland expression (if required)

In Initial appointment you

will be required to fill out a grooming form and with every appointment, Tracy will consult with you as to your grooming requirements to ensure your needs are met within reason.

Fantastic day at Phoenix Dog Obedience Show, wonderfully organised, everyone so friendly, helpful and supportive,
My Daughter Claire's Doberman seems at long last to be getting over her phobia in doing her scent work. Last year in July, there was an altercation outside the ring, which was nothing to do with her, which upset her greatly, and since then, she has refused to do scent.
All winter Keira was retaught the exercise, step by step, different commands and set ups, different venues, etc, and now for the 2nd time in a row Keira has done her scent in the ring, and again today came 3rd, such an achievement for their hard work, I am so proud of them both.
I would like to thank everyone at the show routing for them, their support and encouragement.
My boy Conal also managed a 2nd in Class B. Again, getting there slowly, building his confidence, little things to try and perfect, but hopefully we will get there.

Our first obedience show of 2026, grateful thanks to the Wirral Alsatian show committee for another excellent show.
My lovely boy Belverdale Conal won his first Class B today, a super start to the season, I am so proud of him, growing in confidence and ability.

Fabulous long weekend at Wigton And Lune Valley Obedience Dog shows, I think we had all weather's possible.
We had 2 days judging, (our chance to put something back into the sport), 2 days competing and a day off in the middle for walking and a bit of shopping.
Our young dogs did us proud, with my Collie Conal getting a 3rd and a 6th, and my daughter Claire's Doberman a 5th and a 6th, in classes of 50 plus entered,
A big thank you to both societies for their work putting on the shows, and the invitations to judge, it was just a shame that the weather was so horrendous that the final day of judging was abandoned.
Claire and I would also like to thank the Scottish TT's for their invaluable help, support and training, notes were made and will be definitely put into practice

Many thanks to the Southern Agricultural society for hosting their annual show including an open obedience dog show, wonderfully organised and run by the Ramsey Dog Training Club on their behalf.
Thank you to the club for inviting me to judge on the Saturday, ably assisted by Claire stewarding for me. (Report to follow on ObedienceUK asap)

Once again our fur babies did us proud, with my daughter Claire McKinlay-Storie's Doberman Keira, just 2 1/2 years old coming 4th on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday in Class "A", she also got a 5th in the "ABC Class, (anything but a collie)
The old man of the group Kai, at 12 1/2 years of age, obtained a judges special on Saturday and a 5th on Sunday in Class C
Kalan, now 10, got a 2nd on Sunday also in class C and the baby of the group Conal (2) won Class A on Sunday
Thank you to the wonderful judges who awarded us these honours.

Superb weekend at the Cheshire Championship obedience shows, many thanks to the Society, the organisers and helpers and not forgetting the wonderful judges and stewards who give up their time and perhaps the opportunity to work their own dogs.

I went with my daughter Claire and our lovely dogs did us proud.
The weather was very muggy and windy on the Saturday when Claire's Keira the Doberman got a 2nd in the ABC class, judged on motivation, accuracy and handlers and dogs interactions and bond. They looked stunning!
My young Red and white collie Conal worked the Class A and gained a 3rd on Saturday and 6th on the Sunday out of classes of 49 and 47 respectively, so he is starting to put it all together.
Unfortunately Kalan was feeling his age of 10 in the conditions, so we just had fun training in the ring.
Obviously we had some superb walks amongst the woods where it was cooler, and showing just a few shots of the dogs below

Many thanks to the IOM dog club for hosting their 3 day obedience dog show this weekend, a wonderful time had by all (apart from the rain).
I am so proud of our youngsters , especially my daughter's Keira the Doberman, who looked absolutely stunning and could have easily won her classes if she hadn't put her own tiny spin on the odd exercise, working Class A, she received a 2nd 3rd and 4th over the 3 days,
My baby boy Conal, just turned 2 years old is starting to show consistency in his work, and now just needs to mature and strengthen, and even my old boy Kalan (10) wasn't being left out and got a 3rd in the top Class of this show.

So pleased with young Conal at just 15 months of age, he has today won out of Novice at the Birmingham show despite the horrific weather we have experienced in the last 36 hours, thunder, lightening, hail and so much rain it flooded the grounds and roads.
4th yesterday the win today, just growing in confidence and strength
Our thanks to both GSD Associations for organising such a wonderful weekend, despite the weather, so much work and effort goes into the shows and it is much appreciated by all of us

Fantastic end to a weekend of Shows, with Conal (14 months) winning his first Novice at the Ramsey Obedience Show on Monday. Thank you to all who organised the shows and we'll done to those who got rosettes, it was lovely to see everyone's progress.

So very pleased for and proud of my daughter Claire and her 21 month old Doberman Keira, winning their 3rd novice in 3 weeks on the first day of Ramsey DTC show, she is obviously on great form.
My 14 month old collie Conal came 3rd in novice, and my oldie Kalan a 7th in Class C.
Day 2 tomorrow, good luck everyone

Prizes won at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show held over this past Friday and Saturday, Keira the Doberman won her 2nd novice, promoting her now to higher classes of A and B, she also came 2nd in the post graduate working group in the breed show,
In obedience, Conal (red and white collie) was 6th in novice and Kalan 6th in Class C
It was a fabulous show, so well run by the IOM Dog Club, our thanks to everyone involved
