You may have seen the recent Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) review released today regarding veterinary services.

We understand that reports like this can sometimes feel worrying, but we want to reassure all of our clients that patient care is, and always will be, our number one priority.

Every member of our team chose this profession for one simple reason — we genuinely care. Your pets are treated as if they were our own, and every decision we make is guided by their welfare, comfort, and best interests.

We also want to let you know that we have already been implementing some of the recommendations from the review, and in many cases, we have already been following these practices as part of our everyday approach to care and communication.

As part of this, you may notice new signage being introduced in the practice in the near future, helping to make information even clearer and more accessible for everyone.

We are always here to answer any questions you may have about your pet’s care, treatment options, or costs. Open, honest communication is incredibly important to us, and we will continue to support you every step of the way.

Lovely Rosie recently had her blood pressure monitored at home using our portable machine 💗

Stress and anxiety during a clinic visit can sometimes lead to inaccurate readings, so we offer the option for owners to take our blood pressure monitor home. This allows us to get more reliable results while your pet stays relaxed in their usual environment.

If your pet may benefit from a calmer, more accurate blood pressure check, speak to our team about borrowing our monitor 🐶

He has been straying for around 12 months. He is not neutered and not microchipped.

We have to talk about that collar though… how cute is the cherry charm on it?! It suits her perfectly and might just be one of our favourite accessories we’ve seen lately 🍒❤️

On Saturday, gorgeous Willow – who belongs to one of our lovely student nurses Sarah – decided to give us all a little bit of weekend excitement 🙈

After helping herself to a dead mouse (yes… really 🤢), she had to come in to be made to vomit. Thankfully she was brought in quickly and is absolutely fine!

This isn’t the first time Willow has treated herself to something she definitely shouldn’t have… and judging by her face, she has absolutely no regrets whatsoever 😅

Some dogs just can’t resist a questionable snack!

⚠️ If you think your dog has eaten something they shouldn’t have, please call us for advice straight away. The sooner we know, the better we can help.

Please note that our Harwood branch will be closed this Friday.

Our Tottington branch will be open as normal all day, and the Harwood branch will reopen on Saturday.
