Goldilocks Dog Grooming I am a home based dog groomer with a bespoke salon. I'm fully qualified in OCN level 3 diploma dog grooming, pet first aid and level 2 C & G dog walking.

Just a reminder my card machine is broken and I probably won't replace it for a little while.
I am checking out different ones
At the moment I can only accept cash or bacs payments.
All payments to be made on the day of the groom.

Thankyou to everyone who is moving there grooms due to my Tennis Elbow being really painful and makinh it difficult to work
I am still grooming, but just trying to ajust the amount of dogs I do each day for a few weeks.
If anyone who is due a groom tomorrow, Friday ,Monday or Tuesday can put off there grooms for a couple of weeks please let me know.
I am taking a short break next week, so hopefully that will help the recovery process

FLEAS
I have had 2 instances in the last few weeks with dogs coming in with fleas.
If you dogs come in with fleas and I find them while bathing the dog, I will finish washing it with a fleas shampoo, dry it and you will called to come and pick it up.
I will still charge for a full groom plus the flea shampoo and the products I then have to use in the saloon to make sure I have none left.
This may sound harsh but
I then have to cancel the grooms after your dog, to deep clean and use a product to make sure no fleas are left living.
I can not risk your dogs picking up fleas from my here or my dogs getting them..
I am out of pocket from the cancelled grooms and I have to try and find a space to fit them back in , which is inconvenient for the client and me.
If you are using a flea treatment and your dog is still picking up fleas, it is not working, speak to your vet for advice
Please check your dogs for fleas, they don't always scratch, when you are giving them those big cuddles, just part there fur and take alook .
Honesty is the best policy, if you find them let me know and I will reschedule your groom

I am returning back to work on Monday after a much needed few days off.
Some of you are aware I have been in a lot of pain with tennis elbow and struggling.

Due to the ever rising prices of my utilities and products, I will be having to increase my prices by £3 from the 1st of April , I have tried to keep this as low as possible
I pride myself on using the best products for your dog and do not really want to use anything inferior, using cheaper products would be the only way to keep costs down and I'm not prepared to do that as I don't feel it would be the best for your dogs
Some saloons charge extra for using the spa shampoo I include for washing of faces and extra for nail clipping and ear cleaning, but I would prefer to charge just one flat rate .
Again, I hate having to do this as I realise the higher cost of living is affecting everyone, but I also have to make my business work
I am grateful to every one of you who carry on supporting my small business

I would like to say thank you to everyone who rescheduled their appointments on Wednesday and Thursday to allow me to take a fantastic opportunity to train Jura on Roxby Moor Yorkshire
After a long drive , we arrived and had a wonderful 2 days training on the grouse Moor, and Jura demonstrated what she was bred to do .
Not only did we get to train on grouse with a wonderful trainer, we had the game keeper who had a wealth of knowledge of the Moor and wildlife
We came home late last night , now to clean out the truck and get ready for work on Monday
Taking time to train your dogs really pays off to be able to do this .
