Went in the other night to clean the cat rooms and ended up watching the crazy kittens first!! These 6 will be ready for adoption soon, preferably in pairs!! They’ve all had their 1st vaccines and been parasite treated. 2nd vaccines due in 12 days. They won’t be neutered as obviously far too young so PLEASE take this into account when you are thinking of adopting. If you are thinking of applying please make sure you discuss it with every one else in your home. It is only me running the rescue so when you think oh it’s only one message I get multiple messages every day and if I’m replying and organising meet ups etc only for you to change your mind this has massively wasted my time so put a lot of thought into contacting if you are interested in adopting. NO home on or near a busy road, no very young children in the home or that regularly visit as kittens are crazy with very very sharp claws so they don’t mix well with children!! Good news story to cheer everyone up! Lil Miss Cassie went in yesterday to get neutered and to see if her Peritoneopericardial Diaphragmatic Hernia could also be repaired. Thanks to the fabulous vet Kirsten who was aided by the also fabulous vet Rose and the fabulous vet nurse Leanne, Cassie now has a repaired hernia 🎉🙏🏻 Her liver and gallbladder (which had also been secretly hiding in her pericardium sac!) are back where they are supposed to be! Such wonderful news for such a lovely wee kitty. This was all discovered accidentally when she went in to get neutered a few weeks ago and her heart and respiratory rates skyrocketed leading to her getting an ultrasound instead of surgery which showed something was wrong with the heart. So thanks to the amazing team at Flynn’s Cassie now has a normal functioning body and her only issue is she gets a bit stressed out which can be dealt with thanks to a couple of gabapentin tablets before she has any major vet visits!! This was her today, one very very happy girl who wants to say thanks to Flynn Vets for looking after her so well and to everyone who bought a name in the coffee machine scratch card which helped raise funds towards her care. Once Cassie has fully recovered she will be looking for her forever home, she will have to be the only pet as she’s not a fan of other cats or dogs!!

Apologies for the delay! Winner of the coffee machine is Laura Bar who chose the winning name of Muffin. Thank you so much everyone, Cassie is in to get spayed next week so 🤞🏻🤞🏻 all goes well with her surgery and maybe the vet can do something about the hernia.

All completed and paid, thank you everyone who bought a name and helped towards Cassie’s expensive vet bills that haven’t ended yet as she’s to have surgery next month to get spayed and see if anything can be done with her hernia. Thank you Donna for stepping in so quickly to buy the last name 🙏🏻
