It looks like this hedgehog had been paddling in the pond last night! It's covered in duckweed. My pond has very shallow edges just in case a hedgehog falls in. They can swim but not for too long and need an escape route if they do fall in.

Lots of hedgehog activity last night, I had about 300 videos to sort through!
Disappointed to see a slug in the food at one point, this is why I have to clean out the bowls every day just in case. Despite what many think slugs and slug slime are bad for hedgehogs.

A lot of huffing last night but no fighting thankfully. The first hedgehog came just before dusk and had a good feed before the rest of them came.
