❗️Emergency Surgery - GDV (Gastric Dilation Volvulus)❗️

Meet Maximus. He came in for emergency surgery as he had GDV, a life-threatening emergency in which a dog's stomach fills with gas and then twists, blocking the entrance and exit. This condition is commonly called "bloat”.

Maximus had his surgery and is recovering brilliantly at home! Well done Maximus, star patient 🌟🌟🌟

Unfortunately we have had a deceased cat handed in this morning. Sadly he is not microchipped. He’s is a black and white entire male.

He was left on the doorstep so unsure of where he was found.
