Whatever your level of experience, we’ll have something for everyone, different activities running that are tailored to both our experienced riders, & also some specifically tailored to our more junior level riders (lead reins).

Places on some activities will be super limited, so don’t delay, if interested call today (spaces may be gone by the time you see the board!)

Kindly don't just drop in down at the yard - most areas are off limits to the public, & staff won't be available on spec to discuss lessons - always ring us first to discuss riding.

Riding this evening or tomorrow?
Whilst we appreciate it’s hot, no one can ride in shorts, & no sleeveless tops either – this is for safety!
Lessons will focus on ‘detail’, not ‘speed’ – this is for Horse welfare & rider comfort!
Bring a cold drink – if you need a break/breather at any point, just say so, & take one.

Who hit Chief Instructor Nathalie’s car yesterday?

Yesterday (Thursday), someone visiting the Riding School hit Nat’s car with theirs, then drove off.

We know everyone who visited yesterday - who rode with us, attended a Badge Club session, or dropped in at the yard for another reason. One of those people is responsible.

Nat’s car was ‘1 day old’ - whilst it’s not a new car, it was brand new to Nat - yesterday was literally the 1st day it was parked at work. You can only imagine how she feels!?

It (was) a ‘shiny’ white Tiguan – it had been freshly valeted for sale - hardly hard to miss (you’d have thought!) Still, someone hit it with their car, & fled - didn’t even come forward to say they were sorry.

Not only is the cars bumper damaged - but the impact also disabled its safety systems - the seat belts wouldn’t work – this means Nat couldn’t drive her new car – leaving it stuck at work.

After a 12+ hour day, the poor girl was left physically, & emotionally drained – & it left her stranded, she had to borrow a car to even get home late last night.

Nat does not live at the yard. Nat is ‘on call, 24/7/365’, this is to assist with any issues that may need tending to with the Horses, or the premises - she needs her car for any such emergency call outs.

So, this message is first an appeal for witnesses.

Important to note: Our neighbour does have a camera aimed on the car park – this is for security - to help prevent rural/equine theft! Today, we’ll be asking him if we can look through his footage..

Secondly, the person responsible now has an opportunity to come forward, to admit to their mistake, & make amends, privately.

If they do this before we have to catch them through camera footage, or through a witness providing their identity, we’ll waive getting both the Police & insurance involved.

If you saw something, please contact me (Marcus), or you can speak to Liz, or Nat.

Same goes for the person coming forward to put their wrong right – simply call me (Marcus) on the yard mobile 07746 113624, & we’ll sort it all in private.

Nat puts in way too much effort at work to deserve this kind of deceitful treatment. We hope someone will have some info, or better, simply admit their wrongdoing, & put the situation right.

If your reading this post as a prospective new clients/rider, kindly note that visits to our centre are by 'prior appointment only'.
DO NOT call down at the school over half term in person, unannounced, to enquire about riding.
There won't be a member of staff free to just chat (if we're not teaching we're typically doing yard duties!)
This is also for everyone's safety!!

Lead-rein & novice group lessons - Weds 28th May.
A lesson suitable for the beginner & more novice rider!
£27 half hour lesson.

**Only 1 space remaining in the 10.35am group**
(this is subject to staff approving the rider according to their height & weight, matched to a suitable Horse!)

We’re now operating a waitlist for 1 final group, which will be scheduled to ride at 11.10am. If interested in joining this contact us asap.. Only 4 spaces available.

Don’t wait for the Holidays to enquire as all spaces will be full before they start.

Booking now: Lead-rein & novice group lessons in upcoming School Half Term.
Weds 28th May.
Group lessons suitable for anyone who is a beginner or novice rider 😊
Group start times tbc, though will take place in the morning on the 28th May. (We look at the rider height & weight & level of experience, then allocate their Horses.. This is when we confirm your groups start time!)
The cost is £27p/p, per group lesson.
Lessons can be paid for via online banking & must be paid on day of booking.
