Established in 2008 on Glossop’s High Street, we expanded to a canine well-being facility in 2015 that has been purpose built to incorporate grooming, hydrotherapy, and daycare for your four legged friend. We provide a happy, healthy, open environment for your dog to receive the highest level of treatment available. Our team of qualified groomers, dog trainers and Hydrotherapists are all dog owner

s who understand the importance of caring for your dog’s needs. The team consists of qualified and experienced groomers that hold City & Guild qualifications, two Level 3 and Level 4 qualified Hydrotherapists, with our daycare dogs being cared for by our IMDT dog trainer. We also provide puppy, adolescent and specialist dog training classes with owner involvement.

Kobbie loving Hydrotherapy for the toys!

When his owners noticed a slight lameness at 8 months old. After some specialist investigation, he was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia.

Vets have recommended a rest period with pain meds, then intensive hydrotherapy to help build muscle and improve gait.

Kobbie is a very confident big pup, and here he is loving his 2nd session!

10years! How amazing is this memory!

Can you believe it! It’s 10 years ago since we had the opening day at the unit…after moving from our high street shop that opened in 2008!

So much has changed since this day. We are constantly trying to progress, grow and learn to make everything better for the dogs we care for each and everyday.

Thank you to the team and all our fantastic customers that have supported us for these years, you are the best!

Team appreciation post!

Just wanted a shout out to all our team, that contribute to everything that happens at Woof & Ready on a daily basis…from showing up with a smile on their face for all the wonderful dogs and their humans, multi tasking from answering the phone, while picking up p**p, dealing with last minute changes to schedules in the salon due to no shows, or illnesses, while contacting those dogs on our waiting list.

Being the best party planners, dog walkers, professional belly rubber or even trainers helping those young pups settle into daycare, salon or even water treadmill. Not forgetting photographers, social media experts and maybe a human or canine first aider!

While we are canine stylists, breed specialists, nail technicians, teeth hygienist’s or expert matt releasers, our team support each other to provide the very best care for all the dogs that come through our door.

We also provide support for each team member, to help them enjoy their hobbies, show their dogs, compete in grooming competitions, have holidays, trips or cover when they are ill.

Our team may be small but wanted to give a big shout out to Hannah, Charlotte, Chloe W, Erin, Luke, Chloe H and Tyler who have to bring all their skills each day to provide the best for your dogs!

Please join us in a big Happy 17th birthday to Ramsay!

This wonderful little border terrier has been swimming with us for too many years than she may care to mention 😉 originally to stop the deterioration of cruciate disease (and to stop the need for operating, which it has) and now mobility, muscle and improved reactions in gait and muscle memory.

Her brother, Jamie who is pictured on the group shot, comes each week to reduce the risk of operation on his luxating patella issue, which currently it has.

Dexter just came for the cake, but as we say, a family that hydros together, stays together 😜

Yesterday was Mastergroom 2025

Holly competed in the Championship class of Pure Breed Scissor with Marley and starting to settle into the class…placing 3rd behind two very talented groomers that are in GroomTeam England!

Still some areas to work on but Marley is loving the experience and looking forward to the adventures this year! Thank you for all your support!

No placements for Holly in Poodle but loved being in the ring with Pops the Toy Poodle in T Trim.

Also huge congratulations to Hannah for competing at her first competition with Pippin the Miniature Golden doodle in Salon Freestyle - a huge class and unfortunately no placement but a wonderful finish and Pippin loved the experience! Thank you to his owners for allowing us to take him 🥰
