Testimonial | Purchasing a puppy during the pandemic

We are writing this Testimonial as we are absolutely delighted with the West Highland Terrier puppy that you bred for us.

This was unusual circumstances for all as the birth of Brodie came at the time of lock-down.
We cannot thank you enough for the information, the photos and the videos, which made us part of your experience of enjoying the whole litter and confirmed our investigations that we had picked the correct breeder to produce a puppy for us with confidence.

Brodie has come to our home a fit and healthy puppy who the vet when doing her check over was very impressed with health and condition. Brodie had been acclimatised to the noise of most household appliances and the start of a very good toilet training, he is relaxed being when combed and trimmed , loves toys and we had no chewing problems that we were expecting.

We would like to recommend you in the highest order as a breeder and would like to say that you have made it a very easy and lovely experience considering we had no physical contact in these unusual times.

Testimonial | Purchasing a puppy during the pandemic

I got Fergus from Carol who is a registered Kennel Club West Highland White Terrier breeder based in North Devon. I found Carol through the Kennel Club website & got in touch with her & she put me on the puppy waiting list.

Unfortunately, Fergus was born when the country went into lock-down because of COVID-19. Carol was brilliant throughout the whole process; every Friday I had a video of the puppies with their mum & you could start to see their characters starting to form. Friday became the highlight of my week; as the puppies got bigger I would receive more videos & photos it was lovely to see how happy & content they were. I didn’t get the chance to meet the puppies in person to make my choice due to the restrictions so Carol sent me individual videos of the male puppies so I could make my choice. Carol was very professional & wrote a letter to my vet stating that Fergus had not been micro-chipped due to the restrictions & when it came to collect him I had to ring when I arrived so Carol could get Fergus & pop him in the pen so I could get him & put him in his travel crate; his starter pack was all packed & ready to go. We got allocated times so we never came into contact with another person & Carol stayed inside & spoke through the window. The whole process was done very safely. Fergus is such a lovable little boy & loves to learn. I would highly recommend this breeder; Carol takes great care with the breeding & has produced lovely tempered Westies.

Sometimes puppies need a helping hand. I have to bottle feed every two hours (including throughout the night) - it's so very worth it though!

When my husband and I decided we’d like to get a westie puppy we were over the moon when we found Carol at westiepups.co.uk. We originally found her page through social media and were very impressed with her website so we decided to contact her. She was great with her response to our email and we were put onto her waiting list the very same day. We were extremely impressed with how much love she has for her own westies and with how much care and attention she gives to breading you a healthy puppy. Once we found out that our boy Bertie had been born we were so excited and Carol would send us weekly updates on the puppies’ development through photos and videos. This was a part of the week that we really looked forward to and it was truly amazing to see how quickly they grow week by week. We got to meet our boy Bertie when he was 6 weeks old and it was so lovely to see him with all his brothers and sister and of course his beautiful mummy. On this visit we could see even more how much Carol really did love and care for all her dogs and puppies. Once we got Bertie home at 8 weeks old, he had an upset stomach from all the upheaval. We were straight on the phone to Carol as we were concerned. She was FANTASTIC with her advice and support. Bertie soon recovered and settled in well. He’s now a 12 week old little rascal who we absolutely adore. We cannot thank you enough Carol for breeding us our perfect Westie pup and for being great from start to finish. We will certainly be sending you updates of him.
