I did it! Official time was 36.25. The mass start was pretty hard going and I went off to quick, but once I calmed my pace down and got my breath I was fairly happy. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and wished me luck. Thank you also to Andy and Amber for supporting me on the day 🏊‍♀️

Last update before the swim tomorrow. We are down near Falmouth in the campervan. Today we have enjoyed a mix of glorious sunshine and heavy showers and thunderstorms. Picture of the Helford River at Glendurgan Gardens. I think I'm as prepared as I can be for tomorrow and have everything I need. Conditions are looking pretty calm which is ideal. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated, I am amazed to have over doubled what I was hoping to raise. I will post another update after the swim.

Good afternoon, just wanted to update you on how my training is going. I managed another sea swim on Sunday at Dawlish Warren. I had planned more sea swims last week while we were in Pembrokeshire, but the wind was terrible, so the sea was rough and I then managed to twinge my shoulder (joys of getting older!) It seems much better now and I've been back in the pool this week and hoping to fit in another sea swim over the weekend.

Hi Jemma here, so I've signed myself up for a sea swim to raise funds for the RNLI. They are an amazing charity helping people and sometimes dogs when they get into trouble on our coasts.
I am doing a 1 mile swim from Pendennis Castle in Falmouth across the estuary to St Mawes Castle. I have been training twice a week in the pool and then once a week in the sea. Andy has very kindly been joining me for my sea swims, either on our stand up paddle board or swimming too.

🥳 Wow we're 10 today! 🥳
When I first started St Thomas Dog Walking 10 years ago, I never imagined the business would take off as it has. With Andy joining me the following year as I was fully booked and having to turn dogs away! I love that we are still walking the first dog we took on, thank you Lindsay and Charlie for trusting me with your girl. Thank you to all our customers past and present for also trusting us with your dogs and allowing us to fall in love with them all. We really do have the best job in the world. Here's to many more years to come 🥂
