It’s time for a proper introduction to Woody! 🐾

Woody is a very handsome Australian Labradoodle who joined us a few weeks ago and has settled in really well.

He’s a bouncy, playful boy who loves to run and is usually right in the middle of whatever game is going on. He’s become great pals with Georgie and Arthur. The three of them spend most of their time zooming around together 🫶🏼.

Woody has definitely made himself right at home and we’re loving having him as part of our crew.

Welcome Maple 🍁

Maple the Schnoodle has just joined our pack. She’s such a sweet little pup, full of energy and curiosity.

She loves a good sniff and zoom around, and has done really well so far learning the ropes from the rest of the crew. Her ears also have a mind of their own and we love it 🫶🏼

So happy to be back! The dogs have been brilliant this week, such a happy bunch 🧡
A few of the pack are missing but they’ll be back next week. We also officially welcome Mabel and Artemis, who joined us just before Christmas. Little Willow is also back after spending a year in Houston with the Cowboys, yeehaw!! 🤠🐾

Finally… we’re coming back 🐾
After a very unplanned start to the year, LDW will be back to walks as normal tomorrow.

Today’s weather is wild in a whole other way, so fingers crossed it’s a bit more forgiving for our return 😂
It’s going to be wet and cold, so if your dog has a coat or fleece, please leave it out for me. It’s going to be wet and muddy for a while 🫣

Thanks so much for your patience over the last week. I’m really looking forward to getting back into a proper routine and seeing all the dogs again.

🎄It wouldn’t be December without this… so Christmas Jumper Day is happening again 😄

Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd, Christmas jumpers, hats and accessories welcome. Anything goes. No pressure at all, it’s just a bit of fun!
(If your dog doesn’t have a walk next week, this week works too!)

An Autumn round up with my wee crew. What an amazing few months of sun we’ve had. The dogs have loved every minute. Winter has started to creep in giving us some colder (and definitely wetter!) days now, but we’ll soldier through 😂

Meet Pippa 💛 & Rory 🧡

Both have joined us over the past few months and have settled in brilliantly.

Pippa has the sweetest nature and adores other dogs. She was an instant hit with the rest of the pack and slotted straight in. She loves to be chased around the field and there’s always someone happy to join in.

Rory joined us a little shy, as pack walks were all new to him, but he quickly found his feet. It’s been lovely watching him learn so much from the other dogs and now he loves to run and play with the crew. Now he’s bouncing around like our very own kangaroo 😂

Happy Retirement Kobi 💚

It’s time for one of our original Long Dogs to officially “retire” 🥹

We’ve walked hundreds of miles together over the last eight years (in every kind of weather!).

In his younger days, Kobi would do anything for his ball on a string. He kept me on my toes, fast as a bullet and suddenly very hard of hearing if there was even a hint of a deer in the air. Wherever there was water, whether it was the loch or a muddy puddle, he was straight in and proud of it.

These days, he’s mellowed into a proper gent. He loves a slow, sniffy wander and a bit of liver cake. Never one for pack life, but he’s found a great pal in Smudge. The two of them are solid buddies and enjoyed a quiet plod round the loch together.

Now he’s ready for slower days and taking it easy at home. It’s not goodbye. I’ll still see him now and then for the odd drop-in🥰. But it is the end of an era as our walks together come to an end.

One of the originals and a firm favourite forever. Enjoy your relaxing days Kobi boy 💚
