Lewis hates fireworks as do the other two dogs. Please make sure you have signed this years petitions and if possible log any fireworks you hear so we can prove to the gov how random they are.

His new favorite place

So Yesterday Lewis was 6 (we gave him a birthday..) I can't believe where the time has gone. He is the most loyal and loving dog I have ever had. ......Maybe he is grateful?
Anyway, whatever it is, I am so pleased we adopted him.
He is still a bit jumpy, a bit nervous of loud sudden noises and quick movements but so much better than he was. He will even go up to strange men (my mum always told me not to !!) asking for attention.
So all in all he is doing great. !

In another 5 days Lewis will have been with us for 3 yrs. It's hard to believe.
He isn't scared of men any more which is nice.. he is curious of strangers and expects a stroke from them.
He hasn't put on as much weight as I would have hoped but he isn't skinny just not as round as I'd like maybe.. I think perhaps he is a worrier. He likes to sleep under our bed (on his own bed!) and loves to travel in the car with me. I have taken him away for odd weekends and he is always (well nearly always) well behaved and invited back.
When they are all out in the garden, he can open the back door and let the others in...great! 🙄
He can also open the inside kitchen door which is a stable type door.. So he opens to top and jumps over the bottom, then onto the settee.!
He is an absolute joy to have around, always comes back when called, goes to his bed when told and gets on, most of the time, with the others. I am so pleased we gave him a home. He fits in so well. We love him.
