Really boring video of 2 Collies just shuffling for food in the grass!!
But they are getting on a bit these days and too much running about in the sun is just too for them!
So some nice gentle snuffling is just the trick 🥰🤗

Hollie was at the vets yesterday!!
She has been a little off colour and not eating 😭
Either she is actually not as reactive to people any more or she is SOOOOO poorly she just didn't have the energy to be silly this time!! 😱 She allowed Olivia to check her over, listen to her heart, take her temp the whole 9 yards and all without even so much as a growl!!
She proper made me out to be a liar 🤩🤗 brave girly she was!!

She is a little brighter today, but not much 😢

Today is Hollie's 13th Birthday!!
She doesn't show many signs of aging, it's hard to see the grey hairs as she already has so much white, but I am sure her merle bits are fading a little 🤗

She seems to have accepted Tinks so far, and has been a good girl around her even with her having her first season already!!
Yesterday she even came to greet the landlord at the field and let him pet her 😱 she may actually be relaxing a bit in her old age 🤣🤣

Oh Hollie!!
You never learn 🤦🏼‍♀️

Just after I had set off to a comp with some of the other dogs I had a call to say Hollie had been injured in a scrap with brother Sprocket 😱

With a fairly deep wound I knew it needed it stitches so we headed off the the vets!
Not an easy task with a reactive dog!
I was over cautious as always, there is no point in someone getting injured because I didn't explain how she can be!!
Well she was an angel 😇 no reactions and sitting in the kennel with our so much as a whimper with nurses and other dogs about too!! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyway, I managed to set off 4 hours later to the comp and had a great time, while Hollie was looked after at home by Ashley!!

Healing nicely, she is a good healer - which is a good job, or it might just be she has bad plenty of practice 🤣🤣🤣

Think we have scars on every leg now!!
Still, not doing so bad for an old girl!!

Reactivity comes in all shapes and sizes!!
This little photo shows just how powerful Trailing can be!! ❤️

This little lad was absolutely not so sure about taking food when he found his trail layer!!
You can see his body language in the top photo!
His ears back / high, leaning as far as he can, his back legs at FULL stretch so he doesn't get too close to his trail layer!!
The 2nd photo is after his quick intensity trail, with the exact same trail layer just 30 seconds later!!
He isn't completely comfortable, but just look how much more confident he is, he is in a relaxed stance, his ears forward etc!! 😍

The power of Trailing in working with reactive or worried dogs is just amazing!! 🤗😍
