Huge thanks to Ian Hargreaves, our brilliant equine dentist, who was out today to do Buddy’s teeth. As always, Ian did a fantastic job — calm, professional and thorough from start to finish.

And of course, Buddy was a total star, standing perfectly and taking it all in his stride! It’s so lovely having professionals like Ian who keep our ponies comfortable and happy.

🐴✨ Exciting Update from L&I Equine Services ✨🐴

Hey everyone! 👋 Just a little update from us at L&I Equine Services 💖

We’re so excited to share that we’re launching a new part of the business! 🎉
Even though we don’t currently have our own yard to buy and sell from, we’re now travelling around the Southwest (and beyond) to help our clients find — or sell — their perfect horses and ponies.

This means we can visit trusted yards, private owners, and breeders to make sure every match is truly the right one. 🐎✨

And even better news…
Izzy’s arm is finally coming out of her cast! She’s absolutely buzzing to get back in the saddle and start trying ponies for our customers again — an exciting new step for L&I Equine! 💫

Our goal remains the same:
💖 To find the right pony or horse for every rider — because the wrong one is expensive, but the right one is priceless. 💖

⚠️‼️RACHEL LONGWORTH OWSTON LIVERY YARD ‼️⚠️
So I don’t normally air stuff in public but I keep seeing her advertise the yard we were meant to take on so after viewing the yard Rachel longworth of owston livery yard just outside melton, Rachel promised to get the work done and we were to move in on the 25th of June anybody who knows me and Izzy knows this isn’t just oh let’s do this is a massive dream to get something to get us going! Rachel sold us the dream I was only aloud to rent a minimum of 9 boxes which was a couple more than I wanted but felt we could make it work! Now or never as they say I talked to Rachel I paid a healthy deposit she sent the contract which again stated the yard would be ready for immediate use. So super excited we advertised Jackie Tweedie helped with some local contracts and we were so excited to open the doors and finally get stuck into what we love doing. Roll on the 23rd I asked Rachel if I could move jumps etc the next day to make it easier to settle the horses in. I was told yes no worries and they were finishing the painting the next day before, I have it all
In messages. Rachel asked for a £400 for the 6 days livery for 9 boxes from the 25th until the 31st I said I would put the months rent in on the 1st. Luckily I did as when we arrived they were only just starting work on the barn I was so devastated but tried to be upbeat thinking it will be ok! But it really wasn’t I moved my horses in as agreed the next day as I had no choice to. When I arrived I walked up the yard to hear Rachel saying she can’t bring those fing horses in here it’s not ready! Yes she was right not one box was ready!! I put them in the field and left in tears knowing I had made a massive mistake. The next day she didn’t even turn up there was not one box ready no solarium no hot water the school was not fit for purpose in was so uneven and just under it was limestone so definitely unusable. I told Rachel I was going to remove my horses as the yard was not done to the contact or agreed she rang me and was extremely abusive and refused to return my deposit and the £400 she demanded knowing full well the yard was not ready. I had clients horses moving in and I had to cancel two sales livery’s and two breakers . Rachel has left me so deeply out of pocket it’s now thats the end of the dream for me and Izzy to produce and work with horses as she refuses point blank to return it iam in the process of small claim but seeing she owes money everywhere im not sure that she will pay it! Here are some of the pics i took i also have videos i took of the rest of the boxes to show that there where not 9 stables ready to be used when we arrived, the worse thing is she did it to Lauren the lady who came in after me promising them the world did nothing and took money off them to!
