CS Horse and Pet Services Ltd I am available to provide horse and pet care when you’re unable to do it yourself. I’m Clare and I love being around animals.

I’ve always had dogs and been involved with horses for 25 years, working for an RDA centre for 15 years. I regularly compete in dog agility with my fabulous dog, Smudge.

Smudge and I had the weekend off to compete at the British Agility Championships. Yesterday Smudge did three great rounds and one not so good one when he got very scared of the music in the main arena.
Today, Smudge did a fab jumping round, gaining 6th place and earning enough points to come 12th overall in the Novice Stakes and qualifying for the final. Unfortunately, I knew he wouldn’t cope with the music and the atmosphere of the main arena so I decided to withdraw him as his happiness is the most important thing. I am so proud of the runs we’ve done this weekend, they were the hardest courses we’ve ever done in competition and Smudge loved the challenge 🥰🐕😍🐶

I spent this weekend with Reach RDA at the RDA National Championships which were held at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire. I was also able to support Penniwells RDA by leading Oliver and Tayto in the led walk/trot class which was good fun and Oliver and Tayto were a pleasure to work with. It was great catching up with the Penniwells team and looking forward to seeing them all in a couple of weeks.

We had an amazing weekend and it was a privilege to work alongside a fantastic team. The riders and ponies brought home a lot of rosettes including 2nd in the Costume Freestyle. I had a lot of sleepless nights before the freestyle but it was worth it because George, Sally and the team did an amazing job. Now it’s time to start planning for RDA Nationals 2024!!!
